ROLE PURPOSE
The role of the Planning Executive is to deliver best-in-class media planning and seamless implementation for multiple campaign activations across all channels (digital & offline). This person should be well informed in the Australian media landscape and be able to reference this knowledge in client meetings and within their team. 

 

WHAT YOU'LL BE INVOLVED WITH

  • Internal relationship management
  • Media implementation & planning
  • Campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Campaign management & finance processes
  • Competitor & market analysis
  • Support the coordinator in the team 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Optimise and track all campaign variables to ensure all objectives are met, work to ensure all planning ideas/strategies are delivered through the activation process
  • Proactively completes regular and continuous analysis of market trends, economic issues 
  • Campaign analysis and optimisation
  • Optimise campaigns and utilise the Tracking sheet to keep the team up to date on the progress of the campaign
  • Maintain accurate budget and spend management of campaigns

 

YOUR SKILLS & WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience 
  • Experience of media buying/planning across offline & digital media channels in a marketing agency is beneficial
  • Preferably a university degree or higher education qualifications
  • Expert understanding and working knowledge of Australian media landscape
  • Experience across the following Office platforms: Word, PowerPoint and Excel
  • An understanding and experience using the following tools is advantageous: eTAM, Roy Morgan and AQX.
