Working across Influencers, Media Partnerships, Social and Web/Search, we plan, make and measure awesome content for globally recognized brands such as BMW, NEOM, Samsung, Dubai Tourism, Mondelez, Miral, Disney, and Nestlé. We are a tight team of 60, headquartered regionally in the Publicis Media offices, Knowledge Village, Dubai.

Job Description

Reporting into the Associate Director – Content Strategy, the candidate will be required to plan & execute content strategies for a range of major global brands with a primary focus on MEA. You will be responsible for proactively suggesting areas for research, using a portfolio of cutting-edge digital data sources such as Netbase, Google Keyword Planner as well as Publicis’ proprietary insights tools to analyse a brand’s audience and cultural landscape, and interpreting your research to produce insights and inform strategic content decisions.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Sitting within the Strategy & Growth vertical, you will be a key point of contact for client briefs, using social listening and other data sources to help clients make the right choices about how to approach the challenges of making and distributing content. Working with agencies across Publicis Groupe, you will give expert insight in how best to make brilliant, impactful content. You should have a creative mindset with a genuine interest in the future of content marketing. This is a growing team looking for someone with ambition backed by solid experience to deliver award winning campaigns.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Exhibit leadership in the world of content marketing with a defined approach on
  • Lead content audits for clients by suggesting areas for initial research using creative, divergent and lateral thinking around briefs, analysing data from a portfolio of cutting-edge data sources, and providing a detailed rationale for your insights
  • Proficient in extracting insights from search, social and web sources to translate signals into insights

Proactively support the strategy unit and the wider business with responding to new business or organic growth opportunities - confidently challenge briefs, facilitate ideation sessions, consolidate research and audience insights, and provide creative and innovative brief responses that align with client’s overall business goals

  • Tackle myths and help to educate the wider Publicis teams on why content matters and how planning is core to effective content programs
  •   Build strong relationships with your team, members of the wider agency, clients, client agency partners, media owners and third parties by encouraging questions and actively listening to needs, to ensure client retention and continued revenue growth.

STRATEGY & GROWTH

  • Competently interpret client business goals and translate them into cascaded objectives to address in your strategies
  • Utilize a combination of data analysis, user research, benchmarking and auditing to inform strategic recommendations that address opportunity topics, production recommendations, partnerships, and distribution
  • Work closely with media planners and strategists to translate client business goals and audience needs into meaningful content strategies, considering each agency brands unique positioning and planning approach
  • Maintain awareness of client’s business, their industry, and their competitors, making recommendations to drive change and encourage your team to do the same
  • Collaborate with planning teams to sell-in content opportunities & pitch to existing clients
  • Connect and engage with teams & clients to effectively translate KPIs and identify business solutions
  • Responsible for cost plans & budget management to ensure campaign profitability
  • Together with the strategy lead, be the point of contact responsible for articulating content strategies into concise presentations

MEASUREMENT & IMPACT

  • Measure the success of campaigns and develop the team’s understanding of how to analyse data to make informed decisions to improve performance
  • Deliver impact by helping develop associated measurement frameworks and learning plans to improve client performance.
  • Ensure a high tier score in the client evaluations year on year

CLIENT OPERATIONS

  • Help the clients move from their strategic goals to content development, working closely with creative and production agencies to deliver high quality content that adheres to strategy outputs
  • Ensure a brand’s identity is fed into content strategies and translated through all content creation
  • Facilitate ideation sessions as required and translate great conceptual ideas into actionable outputs
  • Manage day to day relationships with your clients, resolve issues and know when to escalate
  • Lead client status meetings

INTERNAL

  • Actively educate the wider business on Publicis Content services & products
  • Nurture your team to challenge the way things are done to achieve measurable, continuous improvements
  • Evolve templates, research approach & methodologies, tools to generate best-in-class insights
  • Support Publicis Content teams to define processes, develop product offerings and increase profitability by driving cost efficiencies
  • Coherently translate for your team what each Publicis brand, service and practice does
  • Develop and lead one or two products within the Publicis Content portfolio. These could be existing products, or you can trailblaze something new

Qualifications

  • At least 6 years’ experience working on content strategies for a variety of industries, formats and styles, with solid experience in using research tools and metrics which can measure the effectiveness of content (Bonus: B2B marketing experience)
  • Has 2-3 years’ experience in SEO, SEM and social listening and is able to manage high data volume situations to dissect and extract meaningful insights
  • Excellent knowledge of the different types of content and what makes content engaging
  • A good understanding of how content and technology work together to produce data driven, audience-led strategies and be able to identify which content and formats work for each channel
  • Exceptional listener, writer, communicator, and strategic thinker
  • Able to apply logical and rational judgement to everyday decisions whilst thinking about how these may affect business targets
  • Ability to deliver work within short time frames and meet tight deadlines, effective timekeeping and time management
  • Loves presentations & is able to effectively tell stories via Powerpoint/Keynote
  • Proficiency with top content marketing platforms & systems for insights, operations & governance
