Job Description

We are looking for someone who is curious, creative, discerning, and brave. Someone who is not content with the status quo and is always pushing boundaries to achieve more. You should be an effective communicator, have excellent stakeholder management skills, and the ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of an organization. You should also have a strong commercial acumen and financial management skills, with experience in delivering change management programs and working within an agency environment. Ideally, you will have knowledge and experience in the healthcare and pharmaceutical market, as well as an understanding of PHCG offerings and tools.

The Role:

  • As an Account Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of a portfolio of assigned accounts. Your role will focus on the accurate and timely delivery of creative work under the direction of more senior members of the account team, ensuring commercial success for both the client and agency.
  • You will partner with a Project Manager to ensure successful delivery of projects within time, budget, and scope.
  • You will be knowledgeable about the client's marketing strategy and identify opportunities to grow accounts through cross-sell and upselling.
  • You will also lead client meetings to drive the client agenda and be accountable for client deliverables. In addition, you will contribute to tactical brand planning and the creative process aligned with the marketing strategy, and continuously execute client deliverables to a high standard.
  • You will also be responsible for understanding the process and importance of accurate resource planning, working with the project team and client to agree on budget, scope, and timeline.
  • You will have oversight of purchase orders, ITI, PO, invoice approvals, and SOWs reconciliation, as well as managing the finance reporting/trackers both for fee and out-of-pocket costs.
  • You will ensure regular and timely timesheet submission and approval for billing.
  • You will own the day-to-day relationship with the client, ensuring stakeholder management at all levels and anticipating challenges and risks and escalating in a timely manner and as appropriate.

You will be knowledgeable of and adhere to agency processes, understanding the importance of process efficiencies and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. You will take mentoring and line management responsibility for Account Executives where appropriate and lead a virtual team of those responsible for client deliverables outside of the immediate function. You will understand GDPR and escalate potential issues, taking responsibility for project-specific processes, and ensure data policies are internally ratified within SOW/Contract. You will communicate internally/externally in a timely, clear, and concise manner, facilitate open and transparent communication, and have overall ownership of project update meetings.

  • You will be a strong communicator with impeccable standard of written, spoken and presentation English
  • You will hold strong influencing skills; easily consults and negotiates with internal and external stakeholders regionally and globally
  • Ideally you will have experience working with geographically disparate teams across global clients
  • Ideally you will have knowledge (and experience) of the healthcare & pharmaceutical market
