Job Description

The Associate assists the Investment Management team with media buy creation and implementation and management of cross-channel media financials.  They actively participate in all necessary training modules and support the team with stewardship of the plan developed by the Investment Marketplace teams. The goal for this role is to learn and apply basic Investment Management principles. 

Key Responsibilities 

Knowledge 

  • Learns how the agency works and how jobs flow throughout 
  • Broad but basic knowledge of client brands, category, channels + processes 
  • Basic understanding of investment process 
  • Basic understanding of the overall media marketplace and partner landscape 
  • Understanding of media math and financial terminology 
  • Basic understanding of agency Terms + Conditions and media partner contracting process 
  • Basic understanding of agency Investment tools  

Day-to-Day 

  • Responsible for campaign set-up and stewardship in agency media buying platform 
  • Responsible for issuing Insertion Orders to media partners 
  • Responsible for monitoring weekly pacing of media investments 
  • Responsible for actualizing investments of the campaign throughout the year 
  • Responsible for reconciling invoices  
  • Assists in campaign closures 

 

Qualifications

  • BA/BS 
  • Exhibits professionalism, integrity, self-awareness and an attitude of continuous improvement 
  • Ability to multi-task, manage one’s time and demonstrate personal organization to meet deadlines 
  • Ability to take initial direction, then transition to more independent work 
  • Adherence to agency procedures (on-time and accurate time sheets, GDPs, 360 feedback) 
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills 
  • Proficient in computer skills used to manage day-to-day workflow, specifically Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Power Point, Word)
