Job Description

This role reports into the PLeon Global Head of Commerce and requires close working relationships with the PLeon Commerce Lead, other senior members of the PLeon Media / Digital & Commerce team as well as colleagues across a diverse range of media channels and members of the Publicis Groupe Commerce Practice both in the UK and globally.

Commerce media & eContent is a vertical that is full of innovation and the fast-changing retailer landscape makes this an incredibly exciting area to be working in. This role will help Haleon deliver against their ambitious ecommerce goals by navigating the complexity presented by this change by providing incredible consumer experiences.

You will be involved in shaping commerce led eContent strategies on retailers such as Amazon, Tesco, Sainsburys and Boots across all Haleon brands (such as Sensodyne, Voltarol and Centrum). On top of this we are increasingly required to offer an eContent POV on all media channels, so this role also offers an amazing opportunity for someone who is looking to gain an understanding of all of the major eRetail channels.

Our commerce team focuses around key pillars:

  • Strategy and Acceleration for ecommerce and ecommerce media
  • Media planning, activation & measurement
  • Content mapping and creative requirements

Responsibilities

  • To support and drive content strategies for clients to maximise performance with retailer.com partners through best-in-class eContent
  • Present and feedback on eContent performance and lead the thinking and discussion with clients in the eContent space and at a global and local level
  • Own and develop strong working relationships with clients and internal eContent & media teams
  • Ownership of weekly eContent status meetings and reporting to all internal and external stakeholders
  • Be a key influencer within the Creative at Scale Team (CaST), representing eContent within the global Haleon ecosystem
  • Inspire internal stakeholders on the importance of great eContent, coach teams on new eContent developments as well as providing ad-hoc training sessions to allow the wider teams to develop capabilities
  • Project manage the rollout of global projects ensuring smooth collaboration between internal teams
  • Lead conversations with Haleon PoCs in various markets in order to encourage adoption of brand new eContent
  • Proactively research eComm news and industry trends

Qualifications

  • Experience in eCommerce / eContent, either agency side or client side
  • Commerce experience in a digital retail environment or with FMCGs a plus but not essential
  • Strong understanding in digital analytics and the ability to use the information to spot opportunities is a must
  • Understanding of the Amazon Advertising ecosystem is desirable
  • Keen interest in retail and keeping up with fast paced updates and new solutions
  • Must have strong PowerPoint and Excel skills and be comfortable presenting to a variety of stakeholders at multiple levels
  • Strong communication skills and strategically focused, with the ability to distil complex ecommerce concepts into simple-to-understand layman terms as necessary for clients
  • Understand the interrelationship between strategic inputs and strong design within eContent , with a focus on driving commercial return and spotting opportunities in data from a variety of sources
  • Be somebody who can excel in a fast-paced, multi-client environment requiring a blend of technical, analytical and commercial knowledge. Comfortable with ambiguity and excellent at problem-solving
  • Be hungry to learn new things, explore new topics and share with a wider audience
  • Not be afraid to take ownership for projects. Get involved and step into the detail when necessary
  • Have pride in their output and maintain standards and governance
