Job Description

The Global Procurement Data Analyst role is key in the design and maintenance of Procurement Data Sources (Spend Analysis; Portfolio KPIs; Saving KPIs; Spend Management Reporting; Business Intelligence Reporting). The role is responsible for a variety of tasks including reporting, savings analysis, invoicing and budgeting management.

  • Deliver procurement team spend analysis with actionable data (e.g. what is addressable at various spend categories)
    • Create robust reporting allowing team to obtain accurate data on markets, hubs, vendors and type of spend
    • Maintain and design procurement data spend for review by consolidating spend data in different formats 
  • Responsible for checking and confirming all submitted savings/cost avoidance claims and maintaining centralised database
    • Deliver up-to-date tracking on achieved savings that can be audited against associated presented savings
    • Maintained schedules for review (actualisation schedules)
    • Deliver teams key performance indicators (savings made; yields; spend managed; volume of projects; speed of delivery, etc.)
  • Analysing the procurement pipeline and deliver insights on the portfolio status
    • Responsible for validating and updating completed engagements within the business plan for performance tracking
    • Connect and collaborate with team leads to build performance reporting for markets, hubs and agency overviews
    • Provide progression trends – where changes, updates, risks and opportunities present themselves in the data analysis
  • Investigating and analysing existing spend in an area through ERP data, contract and vendor analysis
    • Maintain datasets of information relating to spend and performance
  • Governance reporting – deliver presentations at board level view indicating tracking against targets and Procurement KPIs
    • Consolidation, validation and formation of required communications including board level presentation
  • Procurement Dashboards - Maintain and create dashboards for teams within Business Intelligence tools accurately display what is provided in source data

 

Qualifications

​​​​​​Required Skills/Experience

  • Must be a Microsoft Excel expert
  • Solid financial understanding
  • Good communicator
  • Minimum 1-3  years’ experience
  • Highly organised and able to prioritise tasks
  • Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships
  • A proven team player with excellent communication skills, analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Completely literate in English language and ideally one or more foreign language skills

Qualifications and Certifications

  • Educated to degree level or equivalent
