The ideal candidate for our Senior Social Copywriter position will passionately strive to move the agency’s creative agenda forward. You will work closely with the Art Director and other creative partners to develop ideas for all forms of communication. Ideal candidate understands that the world of media and technology is always evolving and is curious about learning new platforms, tools, and brings forth new approaches and solutions. Strong digital experience is a must. Creative excellence is essential. Must have dedication, persistence and passion for relevant, groundbreaking ideas, be organized and an excellent communicator. Previous multicultural experience in both African American and Hispanic markets, is highly desired. 

Responsibilities

  • Conceptualize, brainstorm, imagine, and develop creative ideas for social campaigns.
  • Very strong writing skills with ability to transition seamlessly between different voices and styles.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality work and write engaging copy for social posts, digital content, ad campaigns, video scripts and storyboards.
  • Extensive knowledge of all current social platforms and familiarity with emerging social platforms.
  • Deep knowledge of metrics and optimization and has in-depth understanding of paid media and each platform's offerings.
  • Demonstrate how ideas tie together; both brand and media strategies.
  • Responsible for concepts and copy on creative decks that will be presented to the client. Must be comfortable presenting internally and to the client.
  • Oversee the entire production process, working closely with designers and producers to carry out multiple projects as well as working with directors, photographers, and illustrators.
  • Display curiosity about the latest marketing trends and digital tools and anything related to the constantly-evolving forms of communication and storytelling.
  • Stay current with regard to clients’ businesses, industry landscape, competitors, product strategies, and information.

 

 

Qualifications

  • Demonstrate 3 years of experience as an Advertising Copywriter.
  • Knowledgable in Pop Culture, current trends, and current events. Someone who considers themselves "In the know". 
  • Thick-skin; copy will be revised many times.
  • Passionate about multicultural marketing and advertising. Previous experience with African American and Hispanic Markets is a plus. 
  • Some Spanish is preferred. 
  • Portfolio or reel must display the ability to do work that appeals to diverse audiences with strong conceptual ideas in a wide variety of media. 
  • Portfolio with 360 Campaign experience is a plus.
  • Strong digital and social experience.
