Job Description

An onsight creative who demonstrates a passion for design. Works closely with the creative team to bring innovative ideas to fruition. Partners with senior creative team members to execute projects through a variety of tactics — both physical and digital. Contributes ideas to team brainstorms and elevates the design aesthetic. A craftsman with well-rounded technical skills who is a strong visual storyteller.

As Studio Designer you will: 

  • Create and revise various advertising production materials for print, digital, and creative presentations while maintaining brand esthetics. Creation and versioning mechanical documents used for large commercial printing purposes and organizing various layered file formats across all media channels. 

  • Independently execute accurate die lines and renderings of visually appealing and motivating layouts across a variety of elements and channel executions. 

  • Handle assignments with speed, accuracy, and efficiency, and make unsupervised design choices and recommendations based on provided direction. Will be required to work on multiple projects across multiple accounts simultaneously. 

  • Ensure approved layouts conform to brand guidelines and that internal deadlines and approval procedures are met for assigned project phases.

  • Must have a scrupulous eye for detail: making corrections and improvements to final executions in typography, color management, asset/image management, file prep, etc. 

  • Work in PowerPoint to help Account, Strategy, and Creative teams to develop Client presentations.

  • Possess a solid understanding of standard production operating procedures, workflows both digital & conventional. Follow extensive legal advertising requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts or Graphic Design preferred (or very strong, non-spec work and industry experience equivalent to that)
  • 2-4 years of experience
  • Experience working in Adobe Creative Suite and PowerPoint.
  • Proficient in file management, time management, and organization
  • Strong portfolio showcasing brand and marketing experience across print, web, and digital mediums.
  • You have an eye for exemplary typography, illustration, icon design, and overall user experience.
  • Demonstrate analytical skills necessary to evaluate project scope and timelines. 
  • Experience with creation and versioning mechanical documents for large commercial printing purposes
  • Experience with file prep for final release of keylines, Hires asset/image management, package, and delivery.

Compensation Range: $60K - $70K.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
