As our Senior Data Manager, Product Owner you will operate as the go-to person between the business and the data: representing and challenging the business to improve their decision making with new high quality data and analytics products.

You will act as an evangelist of new, successful approaches to working with data and data technology to enable faster, better decisions

You will be a critical friend to major change programs to ensure the best approach to engaging with and working with the data platform and team

You build great relationships and regularly engage with customers to refine backlogs and accommodate urgent & important requirements through a well-practiced agile approach

You will play a major role in shaping and landing business-led data disciplines (Data Ownership, Data Governance, Data Discovery) to promote a  full Self-Service capability

You will help to shape and deliver our data strategy and will guiding the data team and stakeholders through an evolution from descriptive KPI’s through to prescriptive data-science driven analysis

You will relish using your sound technical data knowledge and experience to challenge and support the data delivery team in their ways of working

Your Skills & Experience: 

• A proven track record as a Senior Product Owner with experience of shaping delivery plans across multiple workstreams whilst championing business need
• A wealth of experience in delivering data management/BI/analytics/MI/Reporting to a complex business with fast-changing needs
• Driving a business-led enterprise data architecture and associated data disciplines
• Strong technical & architectural knowledge in the context of a high performing data & analytics platform.
• Experience of data migration from legacy to cloud-based platforms
• Knowledge of the Azure data estate and products an advantage

• Experience in evolving the data journey in the Business – moving to self-serve, governed data for faster insights.
• Agile Product Owner qualifications
• Hands-on experience of working on enterprise-wide complex digital transformation programmes
• Experience of delivering financial reporting and managing Finance stakeholders
• To advocate a solution that upholds architectural standards/principles, security standards and usability design standards.
