Position Summary:

We are looking for an experienced Java Developer with relevant industry experience to join our development team working with the product owner and technical lead to develop and integrate custom components in Adobe Experience Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

• Working with product owners and technical lead to build and improve our digital assets management solution.
• Drive web development practices with passion and enthusiasm and strive for continuous improvement within the team
• Initiating, managing, and conducting projects, working independently, but in close collaboration with other team members
• Working with new and emerging languages and technologies
• Supporting internal and external stakeholders

Key requirements

• Masters, or equivalent experience in IT
• At least 5-7 years of experience in a similar position
• Strong Java and backend technology experience in JCR, OSGi and Apache Sling
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms (preferred AWS)
• Experience with RESTful API standards and relational databases
• Ability to work closely with product managers and designers to quickly iterate on features and products
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for UX and product design
• Experience with best practices such as source control, continuous integration, unit testing, design patterns, and agile development methodologies
• Working experience in Adobe Experience Manager or any other content management system will be a plus.
