Job Description

What will you be doing?

As a Business Director within one of our biggest automotive clients, you will play a pivotal role in driving growth and delivering exceptional experiences for this high-profile account. Your responsibilities will align with our agency Growth Pillars and internal Expectations Framework, encompassing the following key areas:

1. Growth for Clients:

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key senior clients, fostering productive and collaborative relationships.
  • Lead the strategic direction for your clients, working closely with our broader Publicis Media organization (Content, Sports, Data, and Commerce Practices) to deliver faster growth.
  • Establish processes that ensure operational excellence for both the agency and the client.
  • Challenge clients and your team to constantly pursue better work and contribute to the Starcom case study pool.

2. Develop a Growth Team:

  • Lead and inspire a planning team of 5 individuals, shaping the culture of the agency.
  • Foster a clear meritocracy within your team, providing opportunities for growth and development.

3. Drive Growth for Starcom:

  • Act as an ambassador for the Starcom brand, building an exceptional reputation within Publicis Groupe and with external partners.
  • Identify intelligent cross-selling and upselling opportunities for agency services.
  • Contribute to new business opportunities and client acquisition efforts.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

In this role, we are looking for someone who is able to quickly build trust and influence multiple clients and stakeholders, at all levels.  You'll have experience in leading large, multidicisplinary teams and will have strong commercial acumen with a a deep understanding of the agency business model.

In addition, you'll have:

  • Expert knowledge of the media landscape, across both brand and performance
  • Vision, with a clear perspective on how media can drive business growth and the confidence to articulate this to the most senior clients
  • The ability to immerse oneself within the client vertical, and develop focused strategic media thinking as a result
  • A collaborative nature; a team player who is happy collaborating with stakeholders internally and externally
  • Automotive experience not essential, but a desire to shake up the category is!
