Job Description

Responsibility and Focus

This position is for someone who can spearhead social media content development for online branded campaigns with excellent storytelling skills and the ability to make any product or brand interesting and exciting. The ideal candidate will thrive in a team-based, high-paced, and detail-oriented environment.

 

Main Tasks

Technical & Product

• The candidate will ensure the content written adheres to voice, brand, and quality standards.

• Work closely with the strategy and creative teams to implement successful content marketing initiatives for clients.

• Work with strategists and art directors in content development, from planning to execution and delivery.

• Ability to work with a team of social media managers and content creators to understand their vision and execute it through creative and interactive videos.

Business Acumen & Operational Efficiency

• Have an intrinsic knack of bridging the gap between brand aspirations and end user requirements.

• Research brands and relevant industries and stay up-to-date with the latest digital trends

• Generate, edit, publish and share daily digital content pieces, including but not limited to social posts and video annotations, etc.

• Create fresh, new, and interesting ideas and convey them that effectively adopts the tone of the proposed brand/campaign

• Understand the brand character and deliver content that it is adherent with its TOV

• Develop online social media campaign ideas for specific target audiences while succinctly communicating brand positioning and internal KPIs

• Align multiple brand strategies and messaging ideas within copy

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience in content writing with strong attention to detail and a hunger to innovate

• Enjoy collaborating with copywriters of various fields—from concept-based social media advertising to data-driven promotions and in-app microcopy.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced agile environment

• Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Journalism, Mass Communication, Literature, or other related fields.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication.

• Persuasive presentation and storytelling skills.

• In-depth knowledge of content marketing, website copywriting and SEO writing across channels. Experience in UX writing is a bonus.

• Proactive collaboration with creative, product, and marketing teams. Agency experience is a plus.

• Understanding of web analytics and data-driven decision making

• Self-starter with an ability to work without supervision.

• Ability to juggle multiple projects without compromising on quality

• Enthusiastic with a learning mindset

• Portfolio of work that showcases writing style and variety
