Job Description

About the role:

The Search Account Manager will support the team with strategy and best practice implementation across Google & Bing for the UK market. The scope of work is for the UK HP Store whilst also working in a central capacity to support the HP EMEA Hub.

In addition to maintaining a strong hold over day-to-day Google Ads activity, you will also make strategic recommendations and work with the Account Director to manage an innovation roadmap based on existing frameworks to drive ecommerce success for your client.

This role will not be limited to Google Ads, but will ensure seamless integration across other relevant channels, data sources and functions, including Search Ads 360, retail insights and content optimisation to deliver against the client’s performance objectives successfully. This requires a candidate who can clearly identify and communicate key insights and retail industry opportunities across multiple stakeholder teams.

Reporting directly into the Account Director, a candidate must be motivated & have the desire to be a leading figure within the agency.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Become the agency’s voice for senior client stakeholders
  • Improve communication flows and lead calls with local HP teams
  • Lead and inspire a team of 2 Junior Managers and 1 Account Executive
  • Deliver client account growth strategies and an innovation roadmap
  • Work closely with the Technology & Intelligence team to develop new Google technology to drive results
  • Nurture key partnerships with Google, Bing, SA360 etc.
