About the client:

Reckitt is a world leading consumer health & hygiene organisation and includes some iconic household name brands across its portfolio, including Durex, Finish, Strepsils, Dettol, Vanish, Enfamil, Nurofen and Gaviscon.

Since 2010, Zenith has been one of Reckitt’s global media agencies of record and our relationship spans global and local in-market assignments.

Globally our assignment covers advanced digital consultancy, including digital buying, eRetail and Commerce Media, technology, ad operations, Google Marketing Platform reseller services and multiple industry first initiatives aimed at delivering on the client’s 2025 vision and beyond. We are also responsible for managing the global commercial engagement with Reckitt and are the lead agency for Publicis Groupe’s overall services to Reckitt, including the Epsilon Customer Data Platform.

Locally, our in-market assignments span across the entire media landscape including TV, Print, Digital, Commerce and New- Age Platforms for the client’s key markets including the US, UK, Australia, Germany and numerous other markets.

 

Job Description

The Global Account Manager is a key member of the team and works closely with the Global Business Director.

The Global Account Manager will be responsible for delivering on key strategic projects and will be the key contact with global Reckitt clients as well as external partners and colleagues across the Publicis Groupe and local Publicis teams around the world.

Reckitt is a marquee Publicis Media account and a client with high expectations, demanding excellence, innovation and first class thinking. This role is an opportunity to work with one of the most successful FMCG businesses of the last 15 years and partner with the client to deliver the world’s best digital marketing program.

Responsibilities:

This role will have the following responsibilities:  

  • Account Management
    • Lead a strong, trusted and valued relationship with client and local market leads
    • Be the key point of contact and support for client, local market & global teams
    • Coordinate global requests to ensure the task is completely in a timely and accurate manner
    • Prioritise and manage a range of regular deliverables as well as ad hoc requests with agility, flexibility and a can-do attitude.
    • Project Management and coordination of Competitive deep-dives and Quarterly Business Reviews.
    • Build strong relationships with local Zenith teams to help keep the global team up-to-date on media campaigns, processes and client relationships across all markets
  • Strategic Projects
    • Be the bridge between client teams and internal Publicis Practices team
    • Understand the media, tech and retail maturity roadmaps outlined for the client and work with stakeholders to ensure progress
    • Support the activation teams, business teams and global client lead on projects
    • Active involvement in Adtech, Retail, Commerce and Digital initiatives and ensure project delivery and success
  • Team
    • Work closely with Global Business Director and Digital Hub Lead; to support across all areas of business as required
    • Take the lead on day-to-day account management and proactively help to drive
    • efficiencies in daily tasks. Proactively propose improved processes and ways of working
    • Learn about the agency, how the business works and the various disciplines within it, as well as the broader media industry
    • Prioritise training sessions and on the job learning to further develop core skills

Qualifications

  • Experience in account management; global client responsibilities are valued, though not essential
  • Strong knowledge of AdTech, Commerce and Media channels
  • Strong people management, project delivery & organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills – both written and oral skills ;  be able to communicate clearly across senior and mid-management stakeholders
  • Dynamic and strong headed with the ability to challenge status quo and champion a new proposition
  • Willingness to learn, take up new initiatives and excel in unstructured situations
