Job Description
The Senior Accountant will be responsible to handle vendor reconciliations, checking and confirming journal entries are done by the HR shared services team and supporting on rolling forecasts preparation.
Main Tasks
Technical & Product
- Maintain updated records for the journal entries, invoices (digital & hard copies).
- Follow up on WIP to ensure proper timely billing,
- Direct the billings to the correct accounts and supervise the process until confirmation of the invoice dispatch.
- Prepare files required for the month end closure entries.
- Supervise all regular accounting processes and journal entries during the month and monthly closure accounts.
- Reconcile customer accounts and manage accounts receivable collections.
- Check reconciliations of vendors and supervise the payment requests.
- Budgeting support and monitor the monthly actuals vs forecasted.
- Supporting internal and external auditors when required.

- Check POs and validate supporting documents for approval.
- Validate the documents of the 3rd party invoices before sharing for posting.
- Check the effect of the entries’ posting and print the corresponding journal entries.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Arabic speaking is a must
