Job Description

  • Providing strategic leadership across a leading telco/tech brand’s customer engagement scope in the UK
  • Driving a culture of customer centricity, connecting the work Publicis Groupe do for the brand across CRM, ATL and Social, building it all around the customer
  • Requires someone with strong leadership, influence and collaboration skills and who’s got their finger on the pulse of the latest customer marketing developments in order to advise our clients on new opportunities to test, learn and create a step change in their activity
  • This is a dynamic fast paced environment that requires someone that is comfortable with both strategic thinking and is able to pick up and deliver strategic projects alongside the team

Key responsibilities:

  • Leading customer strategy across the uk’s biggest evolving tech and telco brand’s Connected Strategy, Social, CRM and loyalty initiatives to create connected, coherent and memorable customer experiences
  • Building a customer engagement strategy to lay the foundations and programs of best-in-class customer marketing
  • Lead development of connected strategy and ensuring they are co-created as an integrated team -with ATL,  defining a clear role for social, CRM and customer marketing as part of an end-to-end journey
  • Helping to cultivate a culture of customer-centricity for the client, by embedding a customer-first and test and learn mindset across the divisions
  • Taking a wide view on overal account strategy including how customer activities should be built into (or even lead) wider communication strategy, delivering planning excellence in areas where customer marketing blurs boundaries or necessitates new approaches
  • Building relationships and becoming a trusted partner and advisor up to client CEO level and internal senior stakeholders
  • Overseeing creative strategy development for all BTL and standalone connected strategy activity. Plus, working with partner ATL agency to influence and evolve their creative thinking

Qualifications

  • Hands on, entrepreneurial thinker
  • Connected strategist with brand and CRM capabilities with deep experience of working alongside data teams
  • Able to lead and manage a blended team of around 10+  across connected strategy, CRM, social, CX and creative
  • Able to listen, gather knowledge, opinion and expertise from a variety of sources
  • Able to work fast and use flexible thinking
  • Resilient and calm in the face of demanding senior level clients
  • Kind and pragmatic connector of people and ideas
