We are looking for a Analytics Director

This is an opportunity to work with one of the world's finest global technology firms in a freshly formed team dedicated to delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world. It is an interesting, dynamic, and diverse workplace in which to manage significant budgets and learn from the top practitioners.

We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team in London and India. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their team autonomously.

Job Description

  • Providing Adobe.pub teams with automated dashboards to eliminate the need for any manual Excel reporting freeing up their time to focus on higher-value tasks
  • Training and documentation so all end users are comfortable using the platform and are kept up-to-date on any new features
  • Day-to-day support for members of the Adobe.pub analyst team who are based in both the UK and India
  • Lead conversations with Adobe regional and global COE teams on existing and new dashboarding requirements for upper funnel media
  • Ensure data for lower funnel media is provisioned, accurate and compliant to be sent to Adobe internal systems on a daily and weekly basis
  • Responsible for building data and analytics strategies, measurement frameworks, analytics models & setting measurement KPIs for campaigns and business goals.
  • Oversee with analytics teeamm project plans and roadmaps for any dashboard builds, have oversight of the development and internal sign-off of the dashboards before they’re rolled out to end users.
  • Develop, implement and manage consistent taxonomy and naming convention within key platforms such as Campaign Framework, DMP and Activation platforms
  • First point of contact for media teams in case of emergency and escalation when related to data governance
  • Integrate data components into a fully functional dashboard environment within chosen technical solution
  • Develop new reporting requirements and analysis, building on the depth of central data available
  • Ensure high utilisation of automated dashboards with regional Adobe clients
  • Real team-player, with strong collaboration and ability to manage upwards and downwards, both internally and with clients.
  • Responsible for management of the analytics team in London and India.
  • Responsible for setting the annual Data and analytics roadmap and deliverables
  • Able to provide trainings to other internal stakeholders

  • Experience of using PowerBI to build dashboards and a clear understanding of the development project life cycle, from gathering requirements to the roll out to end users
  • Minimum 7 years of experience of paid digital reporting within a media agency or client-side
  • Minimum 3 years minimum managing a reporting team responsible for reporting across programmatic, search and social platforms and across multiple markets
  • Possesses a charismatic, engaging personality and can successfully interact with senior/executive level client contacts.
  • Be comfortable delivering work to a senior audience and be a self-motivated operator.
  • Experience with delivering complex technical content to large groups, in a coherent, accessible and inspiring way.
  • Has the ability to grow client relationships through new strategies and innovative ideas
  • Tools and methodologies (ETL, Data Management, Agile, Kanban, Data visualisation principles) 
  • Understanding of media industry, agency background, marketing
  • Broad knowledge of a range of dashboard development and delivery life cycles, agile, iterative, waterfall with basic knowledge of one or more.
  • Knowledge of relevant Data visualisation applications, JavaScript or Python, data structuring and manipulation.
