Job Description

Strategic Intelligence is Publicis Media’s market leading insight, intelligence and research capability that powers our agency brands. Our focus is on delivering strategic insight and intel for our clients that helps them gain a genuine competitive advantage in the market place. We do this through three agency specific teams that work hand in hand with strategists to help clients answer the big marketing and media questions. We organise and build products around four pillars; audience, category, media and culture. The work is varied, exciting and most importantly of strategic value to our clients.

Key Responsibilities / Accountabilities:

  • Develop a good working knowledge of our proprietary research tools (to develop insights and support planners on using and applying them
  • Develop direct client relationships
  • Develop your primary research skills, both qualitative and quantitative, including:
    • Questionnaire design
    • Quantitative analysis
    • Moderating focus groups
    • Moderating online communities
  • To determine what research and insight currently exists by the client and identify the knowledge gaps
  • To collaborate with the planning team to develop the insights into the strategic idea
  • Participate (and lead) in new business pitches when required

Qualifications

Successful Candidates will have :

  •  Previous experience working in an Insight role
  • An understanding of the various different data channels, including digital.
  • A drive to provide innovative client solutions.
  • The ability to work in collaboration with the planning team and strategists
  • An understanding of the different needs and behaviours of consumer.
  • Knowledge and experience with media research tools such as GWI, TGI, Telmar, social listening etc.
  • Experience commissioning qual and quant research, including survey writing, moderating, writing story led presentations and undertaking project debriefs
  • An ability to create a story from several different data sources.
  • The ability to develop and maintain relationships across the agency as well as with clients.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Previous Media agency experience preferred
