Job Description

We’re looking for a Junior Creative; a creative individual who loves digital and thinks in pictures and pixels.

Every year we as Publicis Groupe Africa opens our applications to newly graduate students to apply to be part of their internship program, Le Cubs. During the 12 month internship program, interns will be coached, receive on the job training, complete a formal qualification recognised by SETA and work with real clients. Our aim is not to complete the program, but to do so successfully, support interns with their career growth and work on job readiness.

Stipend :R8 500

 

Qualifications

  • L&D Criteria for graduates
  • recent graduate, having a degree or diploma in Marketing or Business 
  • Not older than 35
  • Less than 2 years work experience in the relevant field

Additional Information

Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Design of digital campaign work including web layouts, design, and social media design
  • Manage the delivery of the briefs/concepts through to final deliverables, ensuring all artworks are delivered on time and to specification
  • Present creative ideas
  • Assist with the broader design team’s workload where appropriate
  • Ensure a consistent visual identity, and look and feel across all deliverables in order to maximize the customer experience and brand identity
  • Demonstrate a clear understanding and ability to translate brands into digital executions and think ‘digital first’ when creating design experiences
  • Keep abreast of current trends and industry best practice
  • Interpret client briefs alongside the client service team, conceptualize, present, and execute
  • Create artwork from template-based designs
  • Create artwork in line with brand CI and digital content creation
  • Roll-out of campaign collateral
  • Work closely with other creative teams to help roll out artwork across a wide range of collateral, from printed media to digital content
  • Work with the wider studio team to deliver technically accurate artwork solutions
  • To continually develop technical skills appropriate to the role
  • Keep abreast of current trends and industry best practice

Qualifications

Requirements / Experience / Skills

  • A relevant tertiary qualification (i.e., Art Direction / Digital Designer)
  • Knowledge of and experience with Adobe Creative Suite applications (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects)
  • Knowledge of and experience with UX tools: Sketch, Figma, Invision
  • Digital experience is essential
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills (able to work on more than one brief at a time)
  • Strong time-management skills
  • Interest in web design, user experience and user interface design
  • An eye-catching portfolio that demonstrates a blend of commercial, digital, and print design
