What you will do

• Responsible for installing, administering and troubleshooting RHEL 6.x/7.x/8.x] Solaris 10 & 11 OS, AIX
• Responsible for administration and troubleshooting of all the physical and virtual servers (VMware)
• Responsible for keeping management up to date on any outstanding production related issues
• Automation using shell/Perl scripts for day to day system administration task
• Responsible for managing the ticket queues and adhere to the SLA.
• Willingness to work in 24/7 environment with rotational shifts .
• Document and update Manual Operating Procedures (MOPs).
• Responsible for keeping management up to date on any outstanding production related issues.
• Responsible for managing the ticket queues and adhere to the SLA
• Hands-on experience with the complete patch management lifecycle including testing, deploying, troubleshooting missing patches and patch issues, etc. utilizing the change management process and patch management and automation tools necessary to ensure compliance and successful audits. 
• Experience in a multiplatform OS environment (Linux, Ubuntu, CentOS, Solaris)
• Responsible for identifying and classifying cyber security vulnerabilities and work on mitigation plans with system owners.
• Prepare audit reports that identify technical and procedural findings and provide recommended remediation strategies/solutions for standards such as PCI (Payment Card Industry), Get-Well Programs.

• Requires a minimum of 3 - 5 years of relevant experience with an Associates or bachelor’s degree.
• Knowledge of ITIL best practices.
• Desired to have Red Hat, AWS, AZURE certification.
• Excellent verbal and written communications skills
