Job Description

We’re looking for a hands-on social strategist to work on one of our key accounts, EE/BT. The strategist will work within a social/content hub team to execute the strategy for always on social activity as well as campaigns, working aside partner agencies. This is a fast paced, dynamic environment that requires the delivery of tactical projects underpinned by strategic thinking, alongside the team. Under the guidance from our Social Strategy Lead, you will be leading social projects from beginning to end, with an opportunity to define outcomes and add your mark on the work.

Key responsibilities:

  • Delivering the day-to-day strategy for the EE social and content team
  • Working with junior members of the team to manage data, research and insight needs
  • Leading the agenda for best-in-class brand social activity, cultural trends and innovations
  • Campaign planning and development for social activity working with partner agencies and key stakeholders at EE
  • Audience research and insights that get under the skin of our customers
  • Staying up to date with social platforms and the latest developments in the space
  • On your specific projects owning the creative development process, from drafting creative briefs, reviewing and feeding back on creative through to driving the correct creative treatments
  • Driving the effectiveness agenda ensuring that for all activity, goals are set/understood, tracked, and reported against

Qualifications

  • Hands on, data driven individual with creative flair
  • Has a deep audience empathy and cultural awareness
  • Experienced in social channel planning across paid, owned & earned
  • Thrives in a fast paced-environment and adapts on the go
  • Able to work fast and use flexible thinking to find solutions
  • Strong team player, comfortable with finding clarity in ambiguity
  • Wanting to learn and grow into a senior strategy role
  • Is ambitious and has a focus on team leadership and people management
