A leading post-production company is seeking an Audio Producer, Episodic to coordinate and manage all its episodic audio work. Working with the wider audio, production, and sales team you will be the key point of contact for the client running the projects sound editorial and mix requirements through to delivery. Highly motivated, with extreme attention to detail and the ability to schedule multiple series through the facility this individual will also be extremely organised and expected to execute multiple tasks in various stages of completion simultaneously.

 

Job Description

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Manage scheduling of all episodic work running through the audio department.
  • Communicate with clients and the mix/editorial team on a daily basis throughout the duration of a project to ensure deadlines are met, deliveries are accurate, and finances are mutually understood and accepted. 
  • Assume responsibility for the technical integrity and financial ramifications of every facility task. 
  • Solve problems quickly and completely, enlisting the proper stakeholders while maintaining ownership of the end solution 
  • Track, manage, bill, and wrap projects accurately in project management software working with the sales and finance team.
  • Respond to client queries and requests in an efficient and timely manner, proactively engaging before, during, and after a project. 
  • Work with both in-house and freelance artists to attain client goals on a given project.
  • Ensure artists and operators comply with all security protocols as directed by the MPAA, studio, or network. 
  • Work with sales department to determine cost of work to be performed for providing formal bids, overages, and actuals. 
  • Support in the wider management of the Audio facility, team, technology, and company brand/reputation.
  • Other duties, as required and assigned.

Qualifications

  • Experience in a post-production or creative audio environment
  • Experience working as an Audio Post Producer or Co-ordinator in scripted episodic content or a similar role within creative audio facilities
  • Thorough understanding of post-production workflows including Dolby Atmos, Pro-Tools and audio deliverables
  • Ability to interface with clients successfully and problem-solve proactively 
  • Extremely organized with ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously 
  • Delivery experience for major studios, VOD platforms and broadcasters
  • Microsoft Office and administrative software suite fluency
