We have a very exciting opportunity in a fast-growing team working on world leading fragrance, beauty, and skin care brands, with extremely ambitious goals. They are a true global leader in their field, and they have very big plans for growth. They are one of Publicis’ top global clients with over 40 markets as part of our network to date.

You would be working in an agency that is also growing fast. We know the challenges are getting harder and clients need to react faster, so you will play a pivotal role in making these bolder moves for our client. You will have the opportunity to take them down different, braver, more profitable paths and lead the way on some of the most globally recognised beauty and skin care brands. 

They have an iconic portfolio of more than 70 brands organised by three divisions:  

  • Luxury (including Gucci, Burberry, Calvin Klein, Chloé, Marc Jacobs, Miu Miu).
  • Consumer Beauty (Including Max Factor, Rimmel, Cover Girl, Sally Hansen, Adidas).

The Zenith HQ team directly services Coty’s Global Corporate team you will be joining. Based in London and responsible for the overall management of Coty’s agency relationships, media partnerships, strategic direction, best practice, and operations.

 

Job Description

The role & the team

As Global Account Director, you will join the Coty Consumer Beauty team that works on some iconic brands, as well as work across, and have engagement with, an exciting number of our Prestige Brands (including Gucci, Burberry, Chloe & Marc Jacobs), based in London at Publicis’s White City HQ. You will report directly to Global Business Director.

You will be a key member of the Global Consumer Beauty team and will have contact with global Coty clients as well as external partners and colleagues across various disciplines within Publicis Media as well as local teams around the world.

As part of the role, you will work with members locally and across the globe to ensure the smooth running of the Coty business.

  • You will be asked to work across a wide range of topics that cover governance, network management, operations, media, brand, digital and creative.
  • You will evaluate the behaviours & performance of the client brands, and competitors using a wide range of tools and be required to collate, analyse, and develop learnings and insights from a wide range of data sources.
  • You will be required to have solid media knowledge and understanding role of media channels including Video (TV + Online), Digital (Search, Social, Programmatic), Outdoor, Audio, Print and eCommerce.
  • You will have an interaction with wide range of Zenith and Publicis Media specialists including but not limiting to Digital, Data and Influencer Marketing specialists. This allows for personal growth and development too; you’ll get to work with some of the brightest talent in the industry.

  • Strong analytical & numerical skills, able to understand and interpret data, relentless curiosity.

  • Strong knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written & oral skills - able to come across clearly and succinctly share ideas & argument rationally (in email or over the phone).
  • Experience in managing other people.
  • Experience in media and specifically global network management, is valued, though not essential.
  • Understanding and delivering SOWs.
  • Managing JBPs is valued, though not essential.
  • Not afraid to share ideas, ask questions, challenge & actively participate, and contribute to discussions, work sessions… towards finding answers.
  • Experience in collaborating with other people, across different disciplines to gather the relevant information.
  • Experience in media & specifically global network collaboration

Qualifications

What will contribute towards your success in the role?

  • Previous global experience is essential
  • Knowledge of US, UK and German markets is a big plus
  • Media agency background in either network management, local planning and buying and digital
  • Passion for all things media including innovation, digital and social
  • Proactive self-starter mindset

  • Thrive on a mix of analytical and creative workstreams
  • Confident with understanding and working with data
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and part of a team
