Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic MCR Operator/ Edit Assistant to join us as part of the ‘CaST’ team. CaST is GSK’s own ‘Creative at Scale Team’ and is run by a dedicated crew of in-house production professionals. Working together with Haleon* brands, CaST produce and amplify campaign content that is more relevant, more tailored and more personal for their customers, consumers and experts.

*Haleon is the new name for GSK consumer brands.

Responsibilities

  • Ingest and prep of all media / material for edits + audio projects
  • Help and assist Editors on their projects, from sourcing material to prepping projects and troubleshooting
  • Work closely with Producers and the lead Editor to prep assets, help setup freelance ops and make sure the facility isrunning smoothly
  • Supporting Editors and VFX Artists with media management and archiving
  • QC’ing of broadcast masters and playout to stations
  • QC of edit / AFX projects to determine suitability for adaptation
  • Encoding / transcoding files to a variety of specs
  • Clocking and soundlaying TVC’s when required

Core experience and skills

  • At least 1 years experience in a post production facility
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills and a desire to learn and progress
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Pro-active not re-active and a willingness to get stuck in
  • Strong ability to multitask and prioritise own workload
  • Genuine enthusiasm for post production, production and advertising
