Zenith Global is the central team, primarily based in London, supporting our local Zenith markets, leading new business efforts, developing thought-leadership, and driving network development for our 250 offices across 95 countries with over 8,000 staff worldwide.
We house a large team of multi-faceted communications planners, digital and innovation specialists and client leadership teams. Our global client portfolio comprises a range of category leaders including Reckitt, TikTok, Edrington, Coty, Electrolux and Nestlé.

Job Description

Essity is a global Hygiene and Health company. They are “Dedicated to improving well-being through leading hygiene and health solutions”. They have a stronghold in Europe with the Americas and Asia accelerating.

They are mostly present across Feminine and Incontinence Care, Kitchen and Toilet hygiene across both B2C and B2B.

They believe in brand building and as such have developed purpose-led campaigns, which take a stand, i.e. Viva La Vulva in 2019 (award-winning campaign), celebrating women’s intimate V zone. They also have a strong focus on sustainability, which is a key pillar of each brand’s marketing strategy.

Electrolux is a white goods company. Their mission is to create better living, and they have done this for 100 years. They strike the right balance between brand building and ecommerce, having recently launched their own D2C platform.

Across both clients, Zenith has been their global media agency since 2013, and this partnership keeps on strengthening every year.

The role:

Exciting Business Director role across 2 key clients of the agency where your strong leadership skills and strategic superpowers will come into play whilst talking to senior folks in multiple markets and leading the Team to greatness. Your ability to multitask is second to none and will be called upon every day. 

As a genuine people person who is digitally very proficient, this role will provide you with the opportunity to work across the EMEA, NA, and LatAm markets. 

The Work:

Multi market and multi-channel strategic leadership

  • A global mindset as well as an appreciation for local nuances is critical – we want someone who can think big but is also able to roll up their sleeves if needed to help the entire team deliver against the brand’s ambitions
  • We want someone who is not just knowledgeable but speaks/writes credibly and persuasively

Stakeholder management (Internal and External)

  • You will be engaging with multiple stakeholders in Zenith Global as well as local market leads (and key Publicis Media/Publicis Groupe practice leads). We have a highly talented and diverse team and support groups that allow us to do our best work. The person we are looking for should be able to manage up/down/across and get things done while keeping morale high
  • In terms of Clients, on Essity, you will interact with the global media and marketing teams; and on Electrolux, with the Global media team. Again it is critical that you are able to initiate successful engagements with Clients of different levels, expertise and backgrounds

People Management 

  • We are looking for a self-starter and an effective coach & collaborator. You will be reporting to the Global Client Lead who will provide high level guidance and expect you to effectively manage day to day operations
  • You will have three direct reports initially with a potential that the team will grow as the Client’s business and our footprint grows
  • You will ensure the team is delivering to objectives and offering mentorship and development to team members (both direct reports and peers)

Business Development

  • We grow by ensuring our Client’s businesses grow. Having a growth mindset and experience with revenue management is imperative
  • We would like this BD to be entrepreneurial and continuously look for opportunities to sell Client solutions that they need for their (and our) business to flourish
  • You will take an active part in the annual commercial discussions

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in leading a team on big global account
  • Previous experience managing senior stakeholder relationships and building trust and credibility with key clients
  • Previous experience working across multiple markets and managing a diverse team
  • Ability to managing upwards and engage with senior leadership within Publicis
  • Integrated, strategic media experience with a good understanding of digital with some knowledge of campaign management
  • Ability to look at the greater picture and deep dive into granular detail when needed
  • Strong team player who is keen to learn and upskill others in the team
  • A global mindset as well as an appreciation for local nuances is critical – we want someone who can think big, but is also able to roll up their sleeves, if needed to help the entire team deliver in line with the ambitions of the clients
  • Identify new areas for growth delivering additional revenue
