OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for a EMEA Digital Implementation Director

This is an opportunity to work with one of the world’s finest global technology firms in a freshly formed team, dedicated to delivering the greatest digital marketing in the world. It is an interesting, dynamic and diverse workplace, in which to manage significant budgets and learn from the top practitioners.

We are looking for someone who can come in and immediately make an impact. This person should exude confidence and be able to motivate, educate and aid the development of other members of the team. Whilst the successful candidate will be well supported, it is expected that they should be able to ‘hit the ground running’, and for the most part be able to manage their team autonomously

Job Description

  • Support the Performance Implementation Lead in overseeing the delivery of accurate and high quality campaigns
  • Manage and coach a team of 5-6 direct reports and effectively lead the larger Adobe.pub team on the planning and implementation of digital campaigns
  • Collaborating with the Planning, Operational, Channel and Reporting/Analysis teams, to deliver end-to-end solutions for Adobe
  • Provide strong governance over the Adobe.pub ways of working, to ensure that the correct process is followed to delivery campaigns, reporting and analysis in the agreed way to the required standard
  • Move Adobe towards a “full-funnel” approach combing lower and upper funnel media to maximize efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Produce and maintain key operational documentation, including guides, training decks and playbooks, to ensure all stakeholders are aligned and to onboard new team members
  • Creation of checklists and project plans to help stakeholders understand their responsibilities and timelines around various tasks and projects
  • Ownership of key documents to monitor performance, accuracy, calendars etc
  • Understand the topline and key objectives, KPIs and targets, to ensure the activation to be able to apply the client’s goals back to agreed processes, to continuously monitor and refine the ways of working (WoW)
  • Liaising with the channel leads and operational team to identify areas of model needing attention
  • Help to lead key internal and calls with Adobe to discuss current and upcoming activity
  • Project manage tasks by coordinating key stakeholders, using project plans to ensure tasks are being completed and deadlines are being met
  • Ensuring that compliance rates against Adobe goals are high (e.g. with the taxonomy)
  • Liaising with the Implementation Lead, Implementation Director, planning, channel, tech and ops leads, to understand any operational leads
  • Delivery and management of ongoing operational requirements
  • Management, delegation, training and development of the junior operational team members in London and PGD
  • Understanding local market needs, where operational processes come into play (e.g. withholding tax, different processes, different laws)
  • Ownership of the finance process and ensuring the team is trained on reconciliation and invoicing requirements
  • Upskilling on the Adobe products, to be able to facilitate training for new team members

Qualifications

  • Good understanding of digital campaign activation, across Paid Search, Paid Social and Programmatic (in-depth hands-on experience with at least one of these channels).
  • Experience with creating guide or training material on PowerPoint.
  • Natural curiosity and desire to help clients achieve goals.
  • Commercial, naturally driven and high energy to constantly rise to the challenge – accustomed to delivering commercial outcomes for the agencies.
  • Able to identify when to escalate potential issues before they become a problem.
  • Attention to detail, including the ability to spot errors.
  • Experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with clients.
  • A positive, solutions-led attitude that inspires and encourages more junior members of the team to assume responsibility for their areas and strive for improvement.
  • Ability to create and follow process, while understanding when a task or method needs.
  • Naturally well organised and a preference for consistency and uniformity
  • Comfortable dealing with multiple stakeholders on multiple projects
  • Experience with the Adobe stack is desirable but not required
  • Experience managing teams in multiple geographic locations is desirable but not required
