Job Description

Black Sheep Studios are a 7 year old BAFTA-winning creative production studio at the hear of BBH London with a rich history in production craft. They don't believe in rosters which gives them the freedom to unearth bespoke creative talent and build teams around every Production.

As Producer, you’ll be a key member of the newly relaunched Studios. This is an exciting opportunity for a Producer with 5 years + experience from a production company background to join a fast-growing team, building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have the opportunity to produce global campaigns for BBH’s brands and Black Sheep Studios’s own clients, working with some of the industry’s best Creatives & independent Directors.

Responsibilities:

  • You will produce end-to-end production, from scoping the creative to delivering the final assets
  • You will pitch independent Directors for each job, spending time and thought in ensuring the right people are put forward for the right job, and not putting the same names forward multiple times
  • You will scope and manage your budgets, using your negotiation powers to make cost efficiencies at every opportunity, maintaining profit margins without compromising the creative. 
  • You will create and manage the production schedule, ensuring all key milestones and deadlines are hit
  • You will manage invoicing and payment with vendors and our Finance Coordinator
  • You are happy to work in a fast-paced production environment, able to juggle multiple productions, and confident managing Production Assistants/Production Managers
  • You will work to production processes and protocols, creating call sheets, risk assessments and all relevant documentation

Qualifications

Skills and Abilities:

  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders
  • A creative problem-solver that brings solutions to the table. The answer no should never be given without solutions being offered. 
  • You have the ability to protect and grow both the Director and agency Creative’s vision for the project
  • You will have a solid production black book of creators and collaborators in the UK and worldwide, and get excited at the prospect of constantly building on this
  • You will have an understanding of both the agency world and production company world, building solid relationships with the Agency Producers and respecting the importance of their role on every production 
  • A team player who embraces the agency culture as well as the Studios culture, gets involved with the various initiatives, enjoys working in a team, celebrates the successes of the agency and their peers and keeps pushing for better work
  • Always remains positive, calm and motivated, inspiring colleagues to maintain a similar attitude
  • You are confident managing a wide range of budgets, from 10k up to 500k
  • Open and willing to share their knowledge of industry developments in production with the team as well as the wider agency
