Job Description

The Director role will report into the Senior Vice President position and will be a part of the Account Management & Operations Team. This team works collectively to ensure budget and revenue delivery, with clear communication across various investment teams and clients.

About The Role

The expectations for this role fall into a few key categories:

1. Communication

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships
  • Serve as liaison between Publicis internal sales team and Activation teams to help maximize procedural efficiencies
  • Work with Publicis internal sales team to confirm new client onboarding details are disseminated to broader Activation teams with clear alignment on contractual agreements, billing timelines, Salesforce, etc.
  • Identify best practices and opportunities for improvement within workflow process and communication protocols

2. Managing Business & Operations

  • Manage dashboards for multiple high-profile accounts to ensure KPI delivery, which may include: achieving budget objectives, media performance, media savings/value, etc.
  • Utilize dashboards to manage client goals and pacing; work with Investment and Publicis internal sales team to help prioritize client allocation
  • Contribute to the evolution of Salesforce/Dashboards to improve user experience, allowing for better business analysis
  • Track Salesforce “opportunity loss” rationale behind Closed/Lost and Closed/Won with reduced budgets, providing intel back to team leads
  • Partner with finance to monitor billing, working with Activation teams to ensure cleared/billed invoices remain within client approved timelines
  • Coordinate data requests for Audits/MMM between APEX and Agency teams
  • Work across various activation teams to improve their Salesforce utilization and hygiene
  • Work with Media Ops to troubleshoot and create standardized processes and templates where possible

Qualifications

Technical Skill Requirements 

We value diversity of thought and experiences at APEX! If you learned about media from the sales or agency side, that’s great but we do need folks with advanced level of understanding of how media investment works.

  • 5-7 years of experience with Advanced knowledge of media is critical for success in this role
  • Diverse backgrounds and experience are welcome including Agency Planning/Investment, Media Sales, Consulting and/or Media Client Side
  • Knowledge of Salesforce and MS Office Suite (must be proficient in Excel)
  • Strong media financial acumen is mandatory
  • Business financial acumen is preferred
  • Advanced understanding of the media landscape

Additional Information

Compensation Range: $115,500 - $181,500 annually. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off.
