Job Description

Applicants must be local to west coast

The VP, Social Content & Engagement Strategy provides strategic thought leadership and account leadership for client accounts and teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Integrate social and content marketing thought leadership throughout Razorfish disciplines, and helps to sell-in additional social & content marketing offerings both internally and externally
  • Partner with senior level client stakeholder to achieve business goals
  • Show a deep understanding of clients' business and translates them for other team members
  • Identify client growth opportunities and works to implement them
  • Counsel clients on best practices incorporating paid social into an overall social strategy
  • Display an in-depth understanding of the functionality, strategies behind social media driven campaigns and best practices of all major social platforms including: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, Twitter, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Snapchat, YouTube, etc.
  • Cultivate and maintain in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms and trends to guide account teams and continue to be a leader in the space
  • Contribute as a thought leader on social landscape, best practices, and cultural happenings across platforms
  • Ability to provide competitive insights, drive results, enhance performance and inform future content strategy
  • Identify new areas/opportunities for social and develop/maintain relationships with social network representatives to keep your finger on the pulse of what's to come
  • Manage and oversee a team of strategists across multiple accounts; direct the execution of social media analytics, content development and distribution, paid promotions and results reporting for several clients

Qualifications

  • 12-15 years of experience managing media and acquisition strategies either at an agency or in house, as a guide
  • A creative, entrepreneurial spirit who is self-motivated and constantly seeking out and identifying opportunities to drive the business forward without being told when and what to do
  • Deep passion for building brands in culture
  • Strong interpersonal skills and able to work well in a team environment with a proven track record in driving partnerships and relationships with internal marketing functions / partners, as well as synergies and collaboration across integrated marketing teams
  • Ability to manage through ambiguity and establish process and structure to help the team operate more effectively and efficiently
  • Extensive experience managing books of business with a record of driving strong business growth
  • Proven ability to think out-of-the-box and drive innovation in ways that connect deeply with consumers
  • Superior analytics skills with deep understanding of sophisticated models and methodologies for measuring success as well as ability to quickly extract key insights from performance report outs
  • Finger on the pulse of new opportunities and emerging channels
  • Ability to mentor and grow junior team members

Compensation Range: $153,000 - $257,500.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time. For this role, the Company will offer medical coverage, dental, vision, disability, 401k, and paid time off
