Job Description

The Senior Content Manager for Social Media will be responsible for producing high-quality content for various social media platforms, as well as developing and executing creative concepts and campaigns for clients. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams, including designers, account managers, and other copywriters, to ensure that content is on-brand, on-strategy, and meets client objectives.
 

Technical & Product

  • Produce high-quality content across various social media platforms, including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and LinkedIn
  • Translate content between English and Arabic, ensuring that the meaning and tone of the original content is preserved and effectively conveyed. 
  • Stay up to date on emerging social media platforms and best practices and ensure that content is optimized for each platform.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute creative concepts and campaigns, ensuring that content is on-brand and on-strategy.
  • Use technical skills and knowledge of social media platforms to develop engaging and innovative content, such as animations, GIFs, and videos.
  • Continuously improve technical skills and knowledge through training, research, and experimentation
  • Review content created by other team members to ensure that it meets client objectives, is on-brand, and is of high quality.
  • Assist team members in brainstorming sessions for content creation, bringing a deep understanding of language and the written word to convey messages.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as advertising, marketing, journalism or communications

• 7+ years of experience in copywriting and content creation for social media, with a strong portfolio of work 

• Proficiency in English and Arabic with excellent writing and communication skills 

• In-depth knowledge of social media platforms, best practices, and emerging trends

• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver high-quality work on time and within budget

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to inform content decisions and optimizations

• Experience working in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment, with the ability to build strong relationships and work effectively with team members from various disciplines
