Job Description

The Senior Designer - Multimedia will be responsible for creating high-quality video content for various social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok. The candidate will need to have a keen eye for detail and be up-to-date with the latest trends in design and social media.

Main Tasks

Technical & Product

• Create high-quality video content for social media platforms, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat, and TikTok.

• Use video editing software to produce videos in various formats.

• Work with the social media team to ensure that video content is in line with the overall creative strategy.

• Collaborate with copywriters and other designers to produce video content that is engaging, on-brand, and meets the client's needs.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest design and social media trends, and make recommendations for how to incorporate them into the content creation process.

• Manage multiple projects and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.

• Mastery of video editing software and experience with animation software.

• Experience with a variety of video formats and ability to create content in different aspect ratios and resolutions for various platforms.

• Knowledge of various video codecs and their compatibility with different platforms and devices.

• Familiarity with hardware and software used for video production, such as cameras, microphones, lighting, and editing equipment.

• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.

• Strong organizational and project management skills to effectively manage timelines and resources.

• Familiarity with project management tools, such as Asana, Trello, or Basecamp, to manage project timelines and team collaboration.

• Understanding of brand identity and consistency in visual design across all marketing channels.

• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, including copywriters, social media managers, and account executives.

 

Innovative & Analytical Mindset

• Ability to think creatively and develop unique visual concepts that align with brand messaging and objectives.

• Familiarity with the latest trends and techniques in video editing, motion graphics, and animation.

• Strong analytical skills to review the performance of video content across various social media platforms.

Qualifications

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in graphic design, multimedia, or related field.

• 5+ years of experience in video production, video editing, motion graphics, or animation.

• Strong portfolio of work demonstrating expertise in video production and design.

• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Photoshop.

• Familiarity with 3D animation software, such as Maya or Cinema 4D, is a plus.
