Job Description

Taking Initiative: Sr. Account Executives are able to act on their knowledge and take initiative on an increasing number of tasks. A key point of evolution is going from supporting client and team interactions to facilitating them. They have become skilled at creating and nurturing relationships with their team members while representing the client's voice and the interests of their customer internally.

Client Impact

    • Keeps current on industry and marketplace changes influencing the clients' business
    • Hyper-focused on ensuring continuous alignment between client's needs and agency team contributions
    • Able to identify client side or internal factors that might inhibit success
  • Journey and Experience
    • Facilitates client moments whether we are presenting work, discussing status, or workshopping
    • Competent in supporting project/brief intake from our clients in partnership with our team.
    • Focuses on ensuring a consistent and positive client experience
  • Engagement Models
    • Services: Directly involved with 1-3 types of work (e.g. Commerce, CRM, Content)
    • Complexity: Exposure to at least 1 form of complexity (e.g. Power of One, market disruption, innovation, etc.)
    • Scale: Supporting $250K-$1M in revenue and works with 5-15 internal stakeholders and 3-4 client side stakeholders

Business Acumen

  • Growth
    • Proactively responds to client queues to initiative conversations with the team on ways we can further help our clients
    • Begins to participate in discussions on how we might be able further help our clients either proactively or through supporting the creation of sales materials
    • Participates in aspects of account planning
  • Financial Acumen
    • Has an understanding of the types of deal structures (e.g. FTFP, T&M, LTS/LTS - retainer) we offer and relative trade-offs
    • Understands how one's engagement model/deal type translates to revenue (e.g. % complete, actuals)
    • Able to navigate estimating process by clarifying assumptions and comprehending components of an estimate
    • Contributes to pipeline (Salesforce 360) management
    • Monitors health of the business to suggest actions

Leadership

  • Starting to build rapport and presence with our clients to influence their perception/views on our contributions
  • Ability to work autonomously on assignments and initiates connections or seeks help when needed
  • Acknowledged by client as a responsible party for an aspect of the relationship/scope
  • People/Relationships
  • Nurtures relationships with full team and responsible for managing individual client relationship(s)
  • Builds internal relationships beyond immediate team, (e.g. seek out 5 key or influential people and meet with them)
  • Relationship advocate representing interests of both internal team and client, striking the balance by coming from a place of empathy

Communication

  • Communications are clear, concise, and drive action
  • Ability to navigate conversations and strive towards shared understanding on matters
  • Ensures follow-ups are identified and acted upon

Qualifications

  • 1-3 years of experience of marketing/agency experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Compensation Range: $61,500 - $90,000.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
