The Global Travel Operations Manager’s main responsibility will be to ensure that the right policies, processes and procedures are implemented across the Publicis Groupe Global Travel Programme.   

Job Description

  • Aligning the global hierarchies with the Groupe’s structure, ensuring that all information is correct (e.g., agency name, HUB, HFM code), including checks on raw data
  • Ensure MI data quality and consistency globally
  • Ensuring internal controls / processes are respected
  • Implement the correct policies across the board
  • Manage the interaction log, ensuring monthly summary is shared with the Global Travel & Related Services Director
  • Take part in regular travel forums to improve communication between the Groupe and agencies and to obtain feedback on ways to improve the programme further
  • Help the Global Travel and Related Services Director with global RFPs and other strategic projects
  • Aligning the BTA payment process with accounts payable teams, including working with AP teams to implement xml files and assist with issues
  • Oversee implementation of the global travel programme in new markets to agreed timescales, including but not limited to:
  • Ensuring hierarchy and billing processes are correct
  • Aligning the policies with the required agencies
  • Completing reviews of any online booking tools and offline processes to ensure alignment with global standards
  • Assisting the Regional Travel Supervisors with necessary training on both the travel and card programmes
  • Completing general reporting / spend analytics
  • Weekly reporting to global team, including project management updates
  • Monthly summary of interaction log
  • Monthly global consolidation of ServiceNow results
  • Assist with training for new and existing Regional Travel Co-ordinators
  • Cover for absence and holidays of Regional Travel Co-ordinators
  • Co-write Quarterly Business Review presentations with global suppliers
  • Being part of the Crisis Management Team and ensuring travellers are assisted and located during an emergency
  • Secondary responsibility, e.g., managing exemption card requests, vPay, exceptions to policy
  • Managing and maintaining the list of out of policy approved travellers
