Job Description

As a Recruitment Marketing Intern, you will serve as a key player in building, deploying, and scaling recruitment marketing strategies that drive awareness opportunities for potential future hires.

The person in this role will contribute to diverse, varied marketing projects in support of the talent acquisition function including market research, outbound messaging, creative collaboration, web content updates, performance measurement and reporting, candidate engagement, and similar projects.

This role will report to the Director of Talent Acquisition within the Publicis Digital Experience pillar and will support multiple agency brands within that pillar.

PLEASE NOTE: Candidates local to the Chicago metro area are strongly preferred and some onsite work will be required.

ALSO NOTE: This is a PAID 40hr/wk internship with a total expected engagement of approximately 12 weeks. Start date can be flexible based on the availability of the candidate selected for the role.

 What you’ll do:

  • Build strong relationships across HR, Talent Acquisition, and Marketing teams to provide proper levels of support as well as understand the brand's purpose, vision, and values
  • Research and present potential marketing strategies that will improve brand awareness and reputation of the agency in order to attract top-quality candidates.
  • Provide support to outbound marketing campaigns designed to create engagement and re-engagement with potential, former, and dormant candidates, prospects, and employees.
  • Partner with HR/Talent Acquisition teams to support the agency's hiring needs and work to ensure job descriptions and overall marketing positioning are attractive, accurate, and properly targeted.
  • Identify, evolve, and improve strategies and platforms utilized to attract candidates.
  • Develop, update, and deliver reports using Excel, HRIS, and ATS in order to provide TA leadership with information and insights related to the performance of the team and the TA function as a whole.
  • Provide support to virtual and/or in-person career fairs, portfolio shows, and other hiring events where TA has a presence as needed.

Qualifications

  • No specific professional education or experience is required; however, preference will be given to candidates who are either:
    • rising seniors or recent graduates of a college, trade school, or certification program, or equivalent work experience;
    • professionals who are looking to make a career change into TA, marketing, or a similar field; or
    • persons who are returning to the workforce after taking time off
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication and presentation skills
  • Highly collaborative with a natural ability to work in partnership with stakeholders across all levels of an organization
  • Naturally curious and inquisitive with a desire to constantly learn and grow
  • Advanced capability developing reports and manipulating data using Microsoft Excel (to include pivot tables, X/V/HLookups, etc.)
  • Prior experience working within specialized enterprise software including applicant tracking systems (ATS) and/or HR information systems (HRIS) preferred

Compensation Range: $20.00/hr. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
