Job Description

Summary:
The Cadillac Assistant Account Executive will work with the SER Account Supervisors/Directors to assist in the execution of monthly advertising plans for the LMA’s (Local Marketing Associations).  In addition, they will be responsible for monthly reporting, meeting preparation and competitive tracking.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain professional relationships with Cadillac Southeast Region and Zone GM clients, Cadillac LMA dealers and the Martin Retail Group corporate and field offices.
  • Work with the SER Cadillac Account Service team to execute the delivery of monthly Television and Digital Advertising for the LMA’s and regional activity.
  • Assist in the preparation of LMA Meetings by completing tasks such as vehicle inventory reports, registration data and sales.
  • Prepare monthly reporting to the SER Account Service Team that recaps each LMA’s advertising plan.
  • Maintaining the Regional Meeting Calendar for the SER Account Service Team as well as your own Outlook Calendar.
  • Assisting in LMA administrative duties such as insurance renewal, tax preparation and invoice submissions.
  • Assist Account Service team with monthly communications to dealers and regional clients.
  • Proactively prepare automotive industry competitive trends and pricing analysis.
  • Participating in the National Monthly Sales and Marketing Conference Calls as well as client-based meetings.
  • Uphold weekly LMA Budget Tracking Report for agency financial forecasting.

Travel:

  • Small amount of travel involved. Market-specific LMA meetings quarterly, usually involves 1-2 overnight stays

Skills:

  • Strong professional communication skills, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Innately organized, with an eye for detail and structure.
  • Good interpersonal skills; must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Exemplary time management skills and meeting deadline requirements.
  • Punctuality in meeting and work environment.
  • Willingness to work beyond operating business hours when necessary.

Qualifications

Education:

  • 4-year degree in advertising, marketing, or relevant field

Experience:

  • 1+ years agency experience preferred but not required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exposure to any mass media communications or Account Management is ideal.
