Now we are on a mission to find our Head of SEO, who will be a vital part of the Publicis Groupe adventure!  

                                                  HEAD OF SEO 

We are looking for a Head of SEO, who will be responsible for actively leading, cultivating and growing the team that delivers on our clients’ SEO, ASO and Analytical related capabilities, meanwhile working hand in hand with the respective Senor Client SEO Managers on a daily basis. Our wonderful multinational SEO team is comprised of 12 talents representing 13 different languages, managed by a Regional Search Director, who oversees Publicis Le Pont SEO capabilities in 3 countries (Hungary, Poland, and Czech Republic).  

The Head of SEO will bring leadership capabilities, strategic thinking, and strong communications skills to nurture and further grow our team, while supporting the development and implementation of SEO strategies that align with the overall business goals of our clients.   

Expected and Advantageous Qualifications & Skills: 

The Head of SEO will be a strong collaborator who can work effectively with other teams within the company; including account and project management teams, the broader digital strategy team and other creative and media talents. They will be able to navigate themselves in a fast-paced and deadline-driven agency environment whilst still retaining a people-first focus and attitude.  
They will also be responsible for supporting careful resource allocation and project management to ensure continuity of high-quality delivery across all SEO talents and clients. 

The Head of SEO will support the Senior Client SEO Managers with the strategic conceptualization, research, execution, monitoring and reporting on the performance of various clients' SEO and ASO campaigns. They are particularly savvy with a proven track-record on tasks relating to Technical SEO, On-page and Off-page SEO, search-back content strategy and ASO. 

Must-have skills and experiences: 

  • A minimum of 5 years of experience within SEO, with at least 3 years in a substantial leadership role with strong interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English  
  • Able to set SMART goals and objectives for various levels of SEO, ASO and Analytical talent 
  • Proven success with SEO campaigns that can be equated to real-world client objectives 
  • Reference examples of having made data-driven decisions and identifying new client opportunities 
  • Experience in resource allocation and SEO project management 
  • Expertise in On-page and Off-page SEO incl. Technical SEO, search-back content strategy 
  • Substantial Experience with SEO tools and software 
  • References – either former reports, clients, or business partners 
  • Practices self-awareness and personal development 
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills with internal and external stakeholders 
  • Strong strategic, analytical and data analysis skills - continuously striving for growth 

Considered as an advantage: 

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, or a related field 
  • Other international language capabilities  
  • Experience with ASO  
  • Experience with Automation or Programming Languages 
  • Experience with One Search (or the integration of PPC and SEO to co-operate in harmony) 
  • Experience with Backlink Outreach Campaigns 
  • Award-winning work in the industry and experience with crafting entries for those awards 
  • Up to date on industry trends and best practices
