Reporting to the Director of Distribution the Distribution Account Manager will play a vital role in the day-to-day operations of the Distribution Department.

We are looking for an enthusiastic, organised person to provide account management for our distributor, film sales and post production clients. We’re looking for a pro-active, driven person who can support our distribution activities whilst contributing to and maintaining efficient workflow processes. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growing team in the UK, that requires engagement on a day-to-day basis with clients and colleagues based internationally.

Job Description

  • Manage customer accounts as required in co-ordination with Commercial and Mastering teams
  • Provide day-to-day support to customers, delivering excellent service and satisfaction
  • Actively participate and contribute towards proposed solutions to customers
  • Maintain orders using Harbor’s software systems from prospect to distribution
  • Manage accurate record keeping; order placement, monitoring and remediation across distribution and mastering services
  • Understand service lines and client rate cards to ensure accurate billing to service
  • Contribute in meetings and discussions to specify, get approval for and implement any improvement opportunities
  • Work with customer contacts, establish priorities and ensure regular reporting
  • Keep up-to-date on industry developments, new technology and workflows
  • Pro-active collaboration with colleagues to ensure customer needs are met and service is best-in-class
  • Basic I/O tasks including overseeing delivery and receipt of assets
  • Communicating relevant information and issues to Harbor staff and clientele
  • Other duties, as required and assigned

 

Qualifications

  • Experience in a client-facing role
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Positive, service-oriented personality
  • Previous knowledge of Digital Cinema asset creation processes & Distribution workflows highly beneficial
  • Ability to work well under pressure, both individually and within a team
  • Strong attention to detail is a must
  • Ability to organise multiple priorities
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly organised
  • Ability to identify issues, propose and action solutions
  • Ability to listen and engage different cultures and perspectives
  • Comfortable working in a hybrid work environment
  • Carry a general understanding of the film distribution process
  • Common sense and problem solver - can do attitude
  • Excellent administrative and organisational skills, combined with a passion for technology and customer service is essential
  • Highly motivated with excellent communication skills
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • Diligent, thorough, and with a keen eye for detail, quality and customer satisfaction
  • Flexibility to work shift patterns or occasional weekends when required
  • Fluency in or basic conversational French, Spanish or German of benefit
