To date the majority of platformGSK has focused on the Consumer Healthcare side outside the US. In 2021 we expanded our remit into the Pharma side of the business.  This role falls within this new arm of the Pharma team. In mid-July GSK divested their Consumer Health Business which is now a company called Haleon. GSK now refers solely to the Pharma business.

The Pharma team currently consists of 3 pillars, one supporting *ViiV* (therapies for HIV) , another supporting Vaccines and one supporting Corporate campaigns.

*ViiV* Healthcare is a pharmaceutical company specializing in the development of therapies for HIV infection born out of a partnership between GSK and Pfizer in 2009, with Shionogi joining in 2012.

Job Description

Sitting within the Pharma team within the platformGSK London Hub, you will be a core member of our ViiV team. This team is tight and extremely collaborative. There is an overall Intl Pharma Lead, the ViiV Business Lead/Strategy Director, a Planning Director, yourself in this Integraton Manager role, as well as a Digital Planning Manager and a Senior Account Executive. There is also a central digital activation workstreams and shared support from a Business Intelligence Director and a Data Analyst.

Within this team you will be responsible for client and agency-side stakeholder management and have oversight of the prioritisation and progress of all Media workstreams; with support and guidance from the Business Director and Planning Director.

ViiV are undergoing a period of evolution. To continue with their rapid growth they must make deeper, more persuasive, more emotional connections with their audiences – to achive this, we need to align multiple clients and partners across multiple markets to achieve truly groundbreaking work. The Integration Planning Manager will play an essential role in this journey allowing us to developing market leading connections plans and ensure we operate at the leading edge of media thinking and practice, including how we continue to evolve in the areas of digital, data and analytics. Consequently, we are seeking candidates with drive, passion, energy and emotional intelligence to drive change.
 

Key Responsibilities

Account Management

  • Day to day Project Management of Clients and Campaigns in multiple markets, across multiple campaigns
  • Manage all global timelines in relation to ‘Brand’ (product led) campaigns
  • Lead Client and Inter-Agency status calls
  • Proactively manage client related relationship issues well in advance of ‘boiling point’ of an issue.
  • Service clients daily, adhering to all Service Level Agreements (SLA’s) to ensure work is flowing and clients are happy and up to speed on all work
  • Manage agency relationships, including deepening existing partnerships with clients and external agencies 
  • Oversee the development of media initiatives which satisfy client objectives within the given timeframes.
  • Ensure quality control of all client deliverables
  • Responsible for In-Market clients with budget to run activity in their location

ViiV Business Understanding, Strategy & Integration

  • Manage launch of ViiV ‘Portfolio’ campaign promoting the range, rather than the products
  • Ownership of global strategy documents, encompassing Strategy, creative recommendation, data and analytics
  • Support ViiV Business Lead /Strategy Director on development of media strategy Guidelines for Brand campaigns and strategy development for ViIV campaigns
  • Look for opportunities to increase our contribution in new markets, with new initiatives
  • Be an ear to the ground of client’s Owned and Earned activity, identifying where paid media amplification is most relevant
  • Have a thorough understanding of clients’ business and internal pressures and adapts their services accordingly
  • Ensure media strategy documents deliver on the clients’ briefs via clear innovative media recommendations.
  • Collaborate with Creative Team; ensure adherence to strategy and client/brand standards as well as feedback, develop and present points-of-view that will help build the clients business and uncover areas of opportunity 
  • Support the development of key actionable insights based on key learnings on a project by reviewing results reports and pulling out key insights 
  • Constantly strive to demonstrate ways to help clients achieve their business objectives, even if they’re not directly related to a current brief, including supporting in delivery of training modules on different media innovations, or regular updates / state-of-play reports on current media channels.
  • Identify relevant opportunities for Publicis extended services to solve Client challenges / support their needs

Media, ViiV Brand and Category Knowledge

  • Develop best-in-class playbooks and development of first in market initiatives
  • Brand/product knowledge champion (product features/pricing/ benefits/competitive advantage). 
  • Understanding of data driven marketing, profiling and segmentation in order to define and enhance targeting 
  • Coordinate internally and with vendors/partners to ensure the flawless execution of campaigns 
  • Understand the relevant advertising constraints the client may face due to the nature of the category they work within (note this is not a pre-requisite but it is important to be keen to learn)
