Job Description

The Planning team at Starcom are looking for an Account Manager to work on the Luxury Maserati UK account.

Maserati is an integral brand and part of Stellantis, one of our largest global accounts across Publicis Groupe. Maserati is very digitally focussed, with over 90% of their media budget in digital channels. The Maserati brand recently went through a bold brand relaunch in 2020, re-establishing itself as a luxury sports car brand, its heritage deeply rooted in Italian automotive history. As part of the relaunch, the brand has seen the release of many new models, all of which featuring electrified versions – and later this year, it will launch its first ever fully electric models!

The UK Account Manager will be the main point of contact for the Maserati UK client, managing all media strategy and planning tasks, whilst also working closely with each channel activation specialist ensuring campaigns go live accurately and on time.

You will also be working closely with the Starcom Global and EMEA teams (who work out of the London office), to ensure local market media directives, process changes and reporting requests from Maserati Global and EMEA are actioned.

This role is unique in the fact you will have autonomy over your work and, to some degree, have ownership over the client relationship.
 

You will also be responsible for:

  • Leading the development of UK media strategy and planning
  • manager the client briefing process and translate briefing to activation teams
  • Work closely with the activation teams to activate campaigns, accurately and on time
  • Deliver all regular and ad hoc client (and internal) deliverables; planning, reporting, finance, insights, POV’s, innovation etc.
  • Ensure luxury account management best practise is followed at all times
     

You will need:

  • Experience in working at a Media agency, in either a Planning or 360 planning and activation role
  • You must have strong knowledge of digital and paid media channels (social, search, display etc) with an understanding of traditional media
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liase with internal team and external stakeholders to complete tasks to a high standard
