Job Description

Here at Starcom, we’re looking for an Account Manager to join Team Blue. In this role, you’ll work across DP World, a genuinely exciting and growing client for Starcom and Publicis Media UK.

What will I be doing?

The Account Manager’s primary role will be working on managing and co-ordinating all media planning and buying in partnerships with the client, as well as offering smooth day-to-day reporting and status updates across all workstreams and projects, applying best practice and processes consistently and accurately.

Under the direction of the Account Director, you will be responsible for:

  • Delivering Central reports on the status of media plans and providing reports and reviews of new media opportunities and relevant consumer insight;
  • Building strong working relationship with counterparts in the relevant local Starcom markets;
  • Contribute to and work closely with the wider Power of One team across creative, digital & ATL teams within Publicis Media
  • Contribute to New business pitches & in-agency innovation & strategic initiatives

DP World are far more than just shipping containers; they are a huge multinational organisation with three prongs to their business: Ports and Terminals, Marine Services and Technology and Logistics (the latter of which covers their work with companies like Stellantis, Apple and other huge companies).  They are Starcom’s biggest B2B client and are growing their work with us year on year.  By joining the team, you can play a huge part in that growth and work with the team defining what B2B at Starcom looks like.

Qualifications

What are we looking for?

In this role, the range of activity will focus on a blend of ATL and performance / digital led channels, so we are looking for this Account Manager to have some experience across Paid Social, Search, Display, Programmatic.  We’re also looking for a blend of good communication skills, the ability to work well under pressure and someone who loves working within a supportive team.

In addition, you’ll have:

  • Strong experience in media strategy, planning, buying and activation in any market;
  • Experience in and a passion for working with B2B clients
  • Understand the complexities between all channels and how they interlink – Be able to make recommendations cross platform
  • Good project coordination skills and ability to set and implement effective project plans and timelines.
  • A hunger for data and consumer understanding and a thirst for innovation, driving the ability to discover and distil new opportunities into relevant, viable and actionable ideas and solutions that will deliver stronger communications for our clients.
