Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, curious individual to join our brilliant team of thinkers, makers and do-ers. This role would suit someone who can set the strategic direction of an account, and be a partner/consultant to clients. An individual who loves to be pro-active, is not content with the status quo. You demonstrate experience of challenging briefs, lifting standards of work in retail channels (on and offline), and having fun doing it.

Of course, the client work you do is one thing, but you will also be a part of the wider strategy team at Publicis•Poke. We are a tight knit crew of 14 multi-disciplinary strategists. We are one team, curious about the approaches we all bring, working together to make great work. Qualifications

RETAIL/COMMERCE

  • Demonstrable experience creating impactful commerce strategies and creative work that shifts metrics
  • Able to provide a compelling point of view on Commerce and where it is heading
  • Ability to define & articulate shopper mindstates, barriers and needs, where this shows up across the funnel, and the jobs to be done at each stage.
  • Experience creating detailed and high level customer journeys and messaging
  • Shows up across the funnel, and the jobs to be done at each stage.
  • Expertise creating digital and ecommerce led campaigns
  • Understanding of eCommerce from product experience and merchandising perspective
  • Experience of creating global shopper toolkits

 

STRATEGIC AND CHANNEL ACUMEN

  • Adept at getting into the detail as much as zooming out and focussing on the bigger picture
  • Omnichannel thinker with excellent understanding of role of paid, earned and owned channels in contributing to marketing objectives
  • Passionate about dissecting and challenging client briefs - and not afraid to ask challenging or thought provoking questions
  • Loves to think and do things pro-actively; loves to inspire the team and the client
  • Acts as a valued and trusted partner to creatives, clients, and client services
  • Good understanding of planning processes and suggests new WOWs to achieve best practice & efficiencies

 

CREATIVITY

  • Experience writing clear & compelling creative briefs and confident in briefing/overseeing creatives & designers
  • Ensures that all creative output ladders back to strategy, brand & objectives whilst championing the creative cause
  • Continuous drive to improve our creative product in partnership with our teams, both in terms of effectiveness, and creative fame

 

INSIGHT MINING, DATA AND MEASUREMENT

  • Confident using a range of traditional and new data tools for research, to identify new and compelling insights
  • Confident in analysing & synthesising large amounts of information and data to create a clear, compelling narrative
  • Demonstrable experience working with and briefing research agencies for qual/quantitative research
  • Recognises when and where data strategy & analysis would bring additional benefits to an account or project
  • Confident talking data and performance in simple terms to those who are less familiar (from Juniors to Senior Management)
  • Understanding potential impact of activity and able to set realistic KPIs during development

 

PRESENTATION SKILLS

  • Demonstrates confidence and gravitas when presenting to senior clients and to wider agency teams
  • Able to present complex data in a simple, clear story arc, told in a compelling, visually engaging way, with actionable, clear conclusions.
  • Adept in thinking on their feet; able to pitch ideas, strategies at appropriate times and forums

  • Innately curious individual: passionate about emerging trends, consumer behaviour, brands, and technology - and sharing these learnings with others
  • Proactive in everything they do – not sitting back to wait for briefs to come to you
