Job Description

The Account Director is a senior role on a piece of business and has real responsibility for the management of the client account; the finances and profitability of the business,  the quality of the output both creatively and strategically, the resourcing of the account throughout the agency, the management and development of the junior account team and the strength of the client relationship. They create an environment that allows effective and world class creative communications solutions to be created for their client. They encourage intellectual rigour, high standards of professionalism and a sense of responsibility. Together with a Business Director or Managing Partner they create opportunities for growth on the account. As senior members of the agency they are ambassadors for the agency both internally and externally.

As Account Director, they enjoy the fast-paced nature of working with clients. They are able to successfully manage multiple suppliers, partners and clients to ensure the best outcome for clients and Publicis•Poke. In particular, they enjoy working collaboratively with media colleagues to ensure campaigns are delivered seamlessly and drive results. They are adept at leading multi-channel campaigns. They love the satisfaction of delivering a project successfully to an extremely high standard.

This role is to work within the Commerce Practice within Publicis•Poke, executing across a wide range of integrated deliverables, including in-store assets, online commerce and eComm.  We are looking specifically for strong Commerce, Shopper eCommerce experience.

  • Able to drive growth on existing and new clients
  • Balances desired resource against agency productivity & profitability
  • Has strong analytical & negotiation skills and the ability to build a productive relationship with procurement
  • Identifies and secures new revenue streams outside current plans
  • Proven ability to construct an “off the project list” plan to realise an incremental agency opportunities
