Job Description

Razorfish is seeking a Client Partner for our team in New York.  You are responsible for working with the client to deliver solutions that fulfill their business objectives across strategy, creative, SEO, social, analytics, experience, commerce and other digital opportunities. 


As a Client Partner, you build intimate and trusted relationships to lead mid-tier client engagements with revenue responsibility. You are an expert in guiding clients through their digital transformation to achieve desired outcomes.


As a client POC, the Client Partner, working with the account leadership, will be responsible for helping clients optimize their digital marketing to drive the client’s success and strategic growth of this account. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the modern marketing strategies, proven digital channel experience. 


In this role, specifically, the Client Partner will be responsible for leading a cross discipline team to plan and deliver integrated campaigns and product launches across a “book” of digital brands.  To succeed, a focus and comprehension of both the client’s day-to-day business and where/how the brands succeed long term against competitor and category pressures is required. 


This role will also partner with delivery to identify and implement new processes and optimize ways of working. And help manage inbound requests to ensure they are clear and actionable for internal team. 


Core Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Be the key client contact for day-to-day work across deliverables and initiatives 
  • Partner with agencies (IAT) for strategic alignment, collaboration and sharing of knowledge and insights 
  • Address client escalations/risks 
  • Participate in cross channel communication/coordination helping to “connect the dots” 
  • Understand client organization/stakeholders, market, and product at depth 
  • Partners with strategy team and participates in strategy development to address client objectives and KPIs 
  • Provides feedback to the team, participates in reviews as the project progresses 
  • Debriefs + recaps from major client meetings or 1:1s (partnership with PM) 
  • Develop overall engagement strategy to collaborate across domains and deliver strategic solutions for the client. 
  • Help the team prioritize work based on strategic imperatives and client objectives 
  • Think strategically and foster relationships conducive to growth in revenue. 
  • Extensive experience with overall account management, account growth, and leadership of cross-functional teams. 
  • Strong presentation, verbal and written skills as well as proven ability to develop well- positioned and thoughtful documents and presentations. 

Qualifications

  • 10-12 years of related industry experience; preferably consulting, interactive, agency or direct marketing experience – exposure and knowledge of commerce, media or CRM a plus 
  • 2+ years of proven track record in developing senior-level client relationships 
  • Experience working across disciplines to ensure account work is projected accurately and effectively 
  • Strong knowledge or experience in marketing and advertising, with emphasis on digital channels, interactive media, strategy, and analytics 
  • Apply creative thinking and analytical problem solving skills to deliver results 
  • Demonstrate exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build client rapport 
  • Ability to collaborate effectively at all levels and functions of an organization 
  • Strong client-service orientation  
  • Proven ability to manage projects to successful completion, multi-task, and work within tight deadlines 
  • Sound business acumen 
  • Ability to lead a team effectively and provide direction through coaching and mentorship

Compensation Range: $68.75 - $125.00.  This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.  This role may be eligible to participate in our freelancer/temporary employee medical plan through a third-party benefits administration system once certain criteria have been met.  This role may also qualify for participation in our 401(k) plan after eligibility criteria have been met.
