Job Description

This is an opportunity to join Publicis Health as a Senior Financial Analyst. You’ll be working directly with our finance team and key managers in our UK agencies and working directly on-site within the agencies, based in west London. The main purpose of this role will be to provide financial and operational support to the Senior Financial Controller and Finance Manager.

You will be responsible for financial reporting and maintaining a strong internal controlled environment across financial operations.

Our agencies are always fast-paced, and our clients only demand the best from us. To be successful in this role, you’ll need to be a self-starter and someone who’s used to working in an autonomously. You must be able to work independently and still collaborate internally. Relevant experience within a similar level role is essential.

You’ll have a varied role which will involve managing multiple stakeholders and always working closely with the Senior Financial Controller, so you’ll need to be proactive, thinking about future needs and keeping one step ahead.

The role: 

  • Responsible for performing the day-to-day general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and analysis for Publicis Health UK
  • Monitor and reconcile general ledger, providing accurate and complete analysis of the accounts
  • Responsible for month-end and year-end close and for the preparation and analysis of the monthly financial reporting
  • Prepare all financial reporting requirements
  • Perform balance sheet account reconciliations, account analysis, accrual calculations, and other related accounting documents/schedules
  • Work with internal and external auditors - gathering and providing necessary information

Qualifications

WHO YOU ARE

  • You’ll have prior experience in a similar level position
  • We are ideally looking for experience of working within a marketing/advertising/creative agency or similar industry
  • You will need to be ACA, CIMA or ACCA part qualified with recent exam success
  • You should hold a degree-level qualification from an accredited college or university, ideally within finance or accounting
  • You’ll be personable, well-spoken, engaging and can develop internal relationships and present with a powerful, persuasive style
  • You should be able to demonstrate grace when working under pressure or to tight deadlines
  • You should have demonstrable experience of flexibility when working across multiple business units
