Job Description

Starcom is looking for an Account Director, with extensive experience in Media Planning to join ‘The Collective’, Publicis Groupe’s Power of One team dedicated to Stellantis, the world’s 4th biggest car Manufacturer. Stellantis owns a number of well-known car brands such as Vauxhall, Citroen, Peugeot, as well as their trusted second-hand car sales department, Spoticar.

The Collective is the bespoke agency between Starcom and Digitas, offering end to end transformative solutions and business growth solutions. The Planning team within this are the guardians of the relationship with the Stellantis brands. We are deeply immersed in their business, acting as a highly valued and influential extension of their brand marketing teams.

Your role as an Account Director will be to contribute to the strategic direction and wider communications plan, working closely with our Strategy, DDT (Digital, Data & Tech), Performance, and Investment teams to deliver industry leading automotive solutions.

You will be the planning lead and primary point of contact for your brands within Stellantis. You will have responsibility for shaping and driving forward the client and agency strategic visions, creating brand and model strategies specific to your brands and inspiring them to be bought to life through the funnel.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Building strong and trusted relationships with key senior and mid-level clients
  • Manage your team effectively, fostering a culture of learning and self-improvement, setting clear progression plans, supporting them to deliver outstanding work, every time.
  • Taking a lead in briefing meetings, being able to ask the right questions to enable you and your team to deliver a brief that will solve your client’s business problems.
  • Working closely with internal teams within The Collective, fostering positive relationships to deliver high quality and timely responses.
     

What you will have:

  • Several years leading communications planning projects that include planning of integrated communications across paid, owned and earned media channels.
  • Able to work within and contribute to an integrated agency team across media and data
  • Experience leading the planning process from brief to RTB’s all the way to post campaign analysis
  • Management experience of a small team
  • Experience working on an auto client would be ideal, but not essential
  • Able to bring people together from different teams and business units, to deliver on a joint vision and delegating tasks to get the work done
