Job Description

We are looking for a hungry superstar who thrives off innovation and collaboration! A candidate who possesses the ability to think both creatively and analytically. Responsible for understanding the mindset of our audience they should be able to develop unique creative content to attract and engage those audiences. They need to be data focused, understanding that data will show the success of our content strategies for driving traffic, audience engagement and overall conversion

The Senior Manager - Content duties include conceptualizing, producing, and publishing content. This includes and is not limited to writing, editing, proofreading, formulating content strategies and managing a content team, among other tasks. Here, content is defined as multimedia articles, blog posts, images or videos that aid in fostering engagement online. 

A few responsibilities include: 

  • Formulating a cross-platform content strategy
  • Managing content across all content platforms including research, writing, and editing a wide variety of content, social media posts (TW, LI, FB, IG), emails, and website copy
  • Sourcing and creating new visual assets, animation and content including social media posts, artwork, motion graphics and animation, short videos, infographics and new concepts
  • Working closely to film and photograph content with content creator teams as needed to produce high-quality content
  • Collaborating with the team to ensure that content aligns with the Client’s overall content strategy and messaging.
  • Managing the content team consisting of writers, graphic designers, videographers & community managers.
  • Serving as the main point of contact for quality assurance across all phases of content development. Writing, editing, and proofreading scheduling content once it’s approved.

Qualifications

  • 6+ years of experience in corporate PR, business copywriting or journalism  as an Editor (newsroom, not lifestyle) preferred. Excellent written and verbal communication skills needed. 
  • Understanding of social media platforms.
  • Design experience, either photography, videography, photo editing and/or video editing is appreciated!
  • Experienced in content platforms (such as: Sprinklr), knowledge of formats, and is able to publish content
  • Team management experience is preferred.

The applicant must share a writing and concepts portfolio with a mix of B2B and B2C published writing samples.
