Job Description

Join an award-winning team working alongside the Paid Search Lead and other teammates to deliver market leading strategy and execution on one of the industry’s largest retail accounts. Sitting within the OPTS (One Publicis Team Samsung) unit, the Samsung team houses expertise from across the agency to bring the best of Publicis collaborating across strategy, planning, technology, audience, and activation.

As a DTC performance focused client, Samsung’s Paid Search team plays a critical role in delivering results throughout the year, commanding large budgets and high focus from the client. You will be working directly with your client counterparts to ensure we’re hitting targets and identifying additional growth opportunities, while ensuring we are following Search best practice across all media we run. Product launches and promotional periods are the most exciting tactical moments for Samsung where teams work to deliver flawless execution and develop industry leading approaches that often-become award winning work.

Coming in as a Paid Search Director we’re looking for someone who is passionate about performance media, technology, and looking to make their mark on a rapidly growing client. Your responsibilities will range from client relationships, PPC strategy, campaign responses, forecasting & finance, and driving innovation with our partners. While playing a pivotal role in aligning with the wider planning and analytics teams and managing a PPC team to support you in bringing this to life.

Qualifications

We’re looking for a passionate self-starter who can work with the PPC Lead to deliver exceptional PPC strategy, execution, and operations. It’s a large team so you need to be able to build relationships with key stakeholders internally and externally, while managing a capable team of PPC specialists behind you. Client servicing is also a key part of the role and you’ll be working directly with them to develop campaign strategies and plans that meet certain targets as well as ensuring we’re on top of our media plans and finances for the quarters ahead.

  • Strong experience across all things Paid Search including planning, strategy, and execution.
  • A passion for innovation willing to push the limits of Paid Search and the wider digital plan.
  • Someone who can build collaborative relationships with clients and internal teams.
  • Ability to manage large budgets and develop clear and simple finance process.
  • Confident presentation and communication skills.
