Job Description

This is an exciting opportunity to join Publicis Media as an Insight Manager working on one of Starcom’s biggest clients.  This role is key to leading and delivering strategic insight in the UK, in the form of consultancy, recommendations, research project delivery and actionable insights. It will be your responsibility to deliver a continuous brand tracking solution and bespoke online community as part of a broader insight and data led ‘Voice of the Consumer’ project.

You will also be involved in the development and execution of consumer intelligence approaches incorporating ‘insight’ and ‘data’: typically panel research combined with digital behavioral and 3rd party data sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and deliver a high profile and bespoke continuous brand tracker, including regular reporting to the client brand teams to help inform marketing decisions across the business
  • Development and project management of an online community – including set up, task design and insight delivery to help inform product development, creative and media concept testing, consumer journey and audience understanding
  • Build strong, trusted relationships with the client and planning teams, demonstrating a strong understanding of their business and category.
  • Ad-hoc support to planning and strategy team to help deliver agile insights– including a wide consideration of different approaches/combinations: ‘traditional’ vs ‘innovative’ methodologies; research based vs. data based (and hybrid); syndicated vs. bespoke vs. proprietary products and approaches
  • Support the Strategic Intelligence department proposition through the development of proprietary planning/activation products training and project implementation
  • Day to day management of an Insight Executive working on the Stellantis account

 

Qualifications

To be successful in this role you will need:

  • Knowledge of quantitative and qualitative research methods (ideally including online communities)
  • Understanding of statistical techniques used in consumer research and data analysis
  • Broad understanding of digital behavioural data providers and their potential
  • Ability to analyse and interpret data
  • Strong story telling skills including the ability to accurately communicate insights (written or verbally)
  • Excellent excel skills
  • Strong problem solving, flexible thinking and multi-tasking abilities 
  • Proactive and curious with a passion for research and awareness of new research techniques
  • Good understanding of current media, communications and marketing issues and landscape
  • Comprehensive experience of full project management of primary quantitative and qualitative research studies including:
    • Leadership and project management of brand tracking solutions including delivery of outputs and insights to senior stakeholders
    • Management of online communities
  • Extensive research/insight team experience at a media agency, research agency or media owner
  • Management experience
