What will you do?
Our Post-Production department is in the need of a  Motion Graphics Designer that can animate from 2D/2.5D to 3D.

Can you make graphics come to life? The Graph Editor is your thing. You are not scared of crafting animations from scratch. Who needs presets?! Can you brainstorm proactively with our creatives and directors to create captivating motion design no matter the final format or purpose?

- At Boomerang we work on all different kinds of projects. Starting from an offline/online approach. Always maintaining an organized workflow that allows us to go from offline to online, fast and seamlessly. That is why we really appreciate things like, being organized and also good knowledge of Essential Graphics. We create social campaigns big and small, traditional and dynamic, but also DOOH in all shapes and sizes and the odd TVC.

- There is an inhouse workflow which is well documented and you should be able to learn it and adapt yourself around it.

- As a Senior Motion Graphics Designer (2D/3D) you will find yourself in a multi-talented team where we help each other to push it to a higher level. In this specific role there is an extra important responsibility when it comes to advising your respective project’s team (from creative to director but also producer and PM) about any post-production needs and -everyone’s- to-do’s. This means you really have to speak your mind and be honest with things like timings or anything that affects the flow and quality of a project.

- You also share your knowledge outside of projects with our post-production team’s post producers and junior editors (to stimulate their talents and growth) but also with our video producers and creatives.

What are we looking for?

• 3+ years of experience as a Motion Graphics Designer. Working with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Illustrator. Clear experience with Cinema 4D + Thirty Party render engines (e.g Redshift, Octane Render etc);
• Well experienced from 2D/2.5D to 3D animation and a sharp eye for good design. At the moment the core of the work is around 2D/2.5D, however we are scaling towards using more 3D for specific projects and needs;
• A clear understanding of social media and the formats of different channels;
• Professional camera knowledge and how to handle its raw footage (e.g. RED, ARRI, MOV, MFX and its metadata);
• Mastering Essential Graphics and AE expressions. Again, it is really important to speed up our workflow.
• Speak and write Dutch and English. Any other languages would be extra cool ;)
• Cheers if you are a team player, a curious person, a problem-solver and we if you bring good vibes to the office.

*For this role it is important to live in the Netherlands and to work at the office for a few days a week.
