We want to hire a Visual Design Lead who will strengthen our craft capabilities and build close relationships with clients and within teams.

Essentially, the job is to design consistent and effective user experiences that delight our clients’ customers. Beyond that, we’re looking for UI specialists who are hungry to expand their capabilities and build their knowledge.

We really like strategic thinkers who can help us understand and define customer value. But that must be backed by practical design genius that helps our clients reach their goals.

• Experience leading project teams and streams of work 
• Experience liaising with clients and stakeholders, taking briefs, challenging them when required and looking for opportunities where design could add further value to the client’s business and their customers’ experiences 
• Experience in design and innovation teams (agency or in-house) 
• A diverse portfolio that demonstrates outstanding craft across channels 
• Expert knowledge of tools such as Sketch, Figma, Principle and the Adobe suite 
• Expert knowledge of creating and operating design systems, and advocacy of their impact and use 
• A multidisciplinary skillset that runs from UI design to UX practices, and from conceptual thinking to brand development 
• A good communicator of work 
• Knowledge of best practices in design and customer experience as well as industry trends 
• A proven ability to work collaboratively in teams 

Qualities That Set You Apart 

• Track record of high-quality UI delivery on complex web and mobile projects
• You might lean more towards crafting the aesthetics of an experience but are just as comfortable conceptualising and developing user journeys
• You have shown entrepreneurial spirit as a proven self-starter who is energetic, pragmatic and who welcomes challenges 
• You combine world-class craft with strategic thinking and have an interest in learning about the business impact of design 
• Proficiency in creating both low- and high-fidelity prototypes 
• Comfortable leading interaction and motion design
• Track record of building and maintaining client relationships and working with clients’ design teams
